The Niners passed on a first round QB in 17 (passed on Mahomes), drafted a QB later in the draft, who ended up signing elsewhere, and the Niners got a compensatory pick who turned out to be Purdy. There’s no guarantee the Niners would have taken Mahomes. Do you know what’s a guarantee? The Bills traded the pick to the Chiefs that is Mahomes and Mahomes is the reason Allen and the Bills will not win the AFC in the Mahomes era.

What a shock that would. As almost always, turnovers will determine the game. Had the Ravens not fumbled the ball on the goal line, they would likely be playing today. Their stupid mistakes killed them.
