Considering they had a QB that gave the ball away over 30 times, their record wasn’t bad. The Bucs D is the MVP of this years playoffs. Brady played solid football, but I could name numerous QBs that would have won in his place. Swap him for Mahomes and the result is the same....likely worse.

TB needed a competent QB and got that. Brady tried to throw the conf title game away and they saved him. It’s laughable to see a defense completely dominate Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes and see everyone want to credit the QB.

I do think Brady is the GOAT though. If I credit him with anything it’s with getting Gronk, AB and Fournette on the team.

Yeah...... sorry I am not buying that there are multiple QB's that could have won in his place. There is a reason that he has now won 7 Super Bowls. That team (Bucs) completely changed with him on the team, the culture and everything else.... and in the case of Brady it isn't even the numbers as he was playing a particular way and did not need to air it out..... even then he had a RTG of 125 and a QBR of 88. The Bucs scored 30 or more points every single playoff game and for the season the Bucs offense was ranked higher than the Bucs defense.

As much as you may think Hill needed to get taken down a peg, it wasn't a brainiac move professionally for Winfield to look like an idiot and poor sport in front of 100+ million people over some hurt pee-pee stuff.

In the regular season, sure. But Brady's playoff run wasn't really impressive IMO.

He was pretty impressive in the playoffs.

He didn't put up huge numbers in the Super Bowl because his team was ahead and he did not take a lot of chances. Even then he had a QBR of 82 which is exceptional. Two of the three interceptions he threw were when receivers didn't run their route properly. Overall all he had a rating of around 100 in the playoffs.

He controlled the games in the playoffs, he was essentially in control of the game the entire playoffs.... they scored 30 or more points every game.

He didn't put up huge raw numbers in large part because he did not need to, as they were ahead.

Hey.......... don't taunt Hill too much, last thing we need is him choking his wife again or hitting his son.

Kansas City made too many big mistakes, and boy did Tampa dominate their backup linemen all game.

say what you want about Brady, but the man is amazing. He dragged those Patriot teams the past couple of years with no talent to the playoffs year after year. Look at where the Patriots are now without him - they essentially have all the same players minus Brady and they're pretty terrible. Yes the defense played amazing yesterday but you still have to be able to score.
