I don't think she's "a" 10. I think she IS 10. You've got a whole other problem there buddy. Maybe I'm just selfish, and possibly why I'm currently alone... But, Super Bowl, World Series, and NBA Finals, World Cup. Super Bowl, doesn't matter whether your team is in it or not...I will not be interrupted. World Series, if it's a team I don't care about, I may get up and do something, at my own will. NBA Finals, If it's a team I like, I'll pay close attention, semi close if it's a team I'm somewhat interested in. World Cup. You might as well pretend I don't exist for 30 days, I won't respond to you. Now, aside from that, there are probably a handful of moments where I do not wish to be bothered. There's still about 90% of the year you can nag me to do something...pick one of those times. You do anyway This has been the "MiG displaying why he's alone" moment of the evening.
Sorry man, can't relate to you on this one. My girl knows not to bother me during sports games in general, and especially during Rockets games. She justs lets me finish the game and then do whatever it was she wanted me to do. The rabid sports fan inside me would also be severely pissed off I was disturbed during the game! Not your fault since she should know better!
I don't remember, but usually she just read stuff articles on the net and email her friends. It was obviously not a good parallel, since it wasn't the final minute of a game 7 of the finals, but it just reminded me of that instance.
Dude... my wife and I were BOTH glued to the TV... There are plenty girls that can both rock your world, and love your world at the same time... Find a girl you can enjoy the game with.
I agree with the other poster about her being selfish and wanting to exert control over you. What a bia. Listen to IROC it... I'm not a huge fan of football or baseball, but when it's something like this and my man is really into it, I make an effort to watch/participate with him. It doesn't hurt me and sometimes I actually end up entertained.
Yup. My ex and I had a billion things in common, but the one thing about me that she never respected was that I liked my videogames. She hardly ever let me play games in her presence, and when she did, she tried her best to make me feel guilty about it. You'd think I beat her, with how pissed she got just for me playing a damn videogame for a half-hour. Ain't worth it. If your girl can't even be understanding during the friggin' Superbowl, she should be a goner. EDIT: On the other side of the coin, was it wireless internet that was broken? Because if it was, would it really have been a big deal to just kinda work on fixing it while watching the postgame? I have a hard time believing that would've taken a lot out of the experience. Then again, I hardly ever watch postgames, so maybe I'm just wrong there... If it was wired internet, or if you would've had to leave the room to mess with a router, ignore this comment.
PLEASE, before you get grey hairs and bald, a gut and/or a drug or alcohol problem (if you don't already have any of this), I suggest unfortunately, find ANOTHER WOMAN. I havent read anything in here in a while that made my skin crawl but that did... Woman competing with sports is the dumbest thing conceivable....its her power tripping, straight up. 10's certainly have a convincing way about them . But 9's and 10's are the MOST INSECURE women there are. And overly high maintenance. I'm betting she's asked "Do I look fat in this?" way more than someone who's probably thinner than the average woman should... My opinion is I'd rather have an 8 that treats me like a king than a 10 that treats me like dirt. Not wanting you to lower your standards though...10's are rare and and its even more rare to find a halfway sane one. Good luck in the current situation or any possible one after.
I think I'm done with this relationship. The girl asked me to come to bed w/ her and then stated she wanted some of the above. Initially i refused cos i was still a bit ticked off. But then the horndog in me came out and I said lets get it on. The b*tch then basically told me "psyche, i just wanted you to remember this feeling"!!! I'm thinking okay, wtf. Thats the way to make your man find some $5 w**** for a quick f*&k . Doing or saying crap like that. wow. Has that ever happened to any of you guys? Your gal telling you lets go do it and then telling you nah, I just wanted to mess with you. lovely stuff. I believe I am/will be back on the market again.
