I think this year might be the end of the "Super Bowl Commercial" as we know it. Many companies didn't even bother to put in new commercials. I wouldn't be suprised to see commercial time rates stay the same or drop next year. It just didn't seem like any effort was put into these at all. Overall, it was a terrible night for commercials. I liked the very first commercial of the game the best (Bud Light - Rock, Paper, Scissors). Blockbuster was good and the Snickers kiss was funny. Other than that, nothing stuck out for me.
Beyond that, one of the commercials that tested highest was made by 5 people, over the span of four days, that cost a grand total of 12 dollars. The Doritos homemade ad. Say goodbye to way overpaid advertising gurus..
