If he can get back to where he was against the Lakers that series, he's better than Dragic and Lowry. Always liked Brooks just think he needed to mature a little

Maybe offensively, but Brooks had a horrible habit of walking the ball up-court (similar to McGrady) instead of looking for potential transition baskets. In any case, if you factor in defense, Dragic and Lowry are far better overall players.

Or he could've played like he did in china and his limited time in phoenx and it would've been a good deal.

Any time you play Chinese basketball, a few hours later you are hungry to play again.

I'm not convinced that 'meh' was even alive during the Dawson era.

If I'm Brooks, I think about signing a 1-yr deal if they're not willing to offer more than 2-3 mil/yr.

A one year "tryout" deal seems fair given his attitude over losing his starting job a couple years ago. Come back with a good attitude and prove he can push the ball like Lowry and maybe up his defense a little to where he actually has some D that's not just passing lane BS and earn your money. Then again, Morey probably won't pay him after that year. He only likes to pay chuckers like Ariza.

If you like deals based on half season of work, I prefer Dragic at 4yr/$30mil myself. Better shooter. Better passer. Better defender. Better overall, less money.

He could probably beat out Chalmers for the starting spot. I don't understand why you guys wouldn't want him.
