Heath is first priority. Remember that.

Now, the only good thing about Rudy being at home is that he can see how horrible we look most of the time.

It's a different perspective on TV than on the court.

Why did Rox losse?
1st is Rudy sudden absent-which affect our players mental.
2nd is compare with Suns:they havetwo key steady scores i.e. Marbuy and Narion strongly back up with Hardway.
3rd is they played like hole team, while Rox just like waves make us heartbreak.
What we will do for next season?
1st a experienced coach wanted.
2nd we have to play with the hole players.Never care about self scores which lead us to the drain
3rd take appropriate adjustments to strong our weak point such as PF,passing the ball, shooting steady post.
Go,Rockets!

OK, Doc,

... what's up?

WE ARE ON A NEED TO KNOW BASIS, and we need to know whatever you can tell us.

The way things have gone has been SO dissappointing to those of us who believed. We need something to cheer us up ... or at least know what might happen to make things better.

we shouldn't be blaming other teams if Houston didn't get in the postseason. If the Rockets would've won the games they were supposed to win (below .500 teams), we would be riding high in the playoffs.

UGH! SUNS CLINCH FINAL SPOT!!

Ugh. Another year of no postseason and all my hopes and dreams of a return to the REAL games are gone! I don't know about you guys but something is going to have to CHANGE. I don't care WHAT, WHO, HOW or WHY..BUT SOMEBODY IN THAT DAMN ORGANIZATION BETTER START MAKING THEIR FANS BELIEVE THEY MEAN BIDNESS!! ****! The Suns have missed only ONE postseason in recent history and that was LAST year. Kudos to Marbury, Marion and most recently, PENNY HARDAWAY for stepping up their maturity levels and their games and by showing real veteran leadership for their team. The so-called "leaders" on this team is too immature to have done that. The Suns deserved that final spot. They've been playing like they wanted it for at least the last two weeks. I would've felt a lot worse if they STUMBLED into that spot..but they didn't. They kicked ARSE and took names and they won those games in style.

--ugh..maybe next year, Rocket fanz (gulp):(

im just glad that i no longer have to hear stuff like "well, if we win our next two and the suns loose all three of theirs than we are in." im glad that there is no glimmer of hope to hang on to. it was just sad to hear people clinging to that.

the postive is that maybe some serious changes will come about b/c of this.

will steve continue to campaign for his "friend's" job? cuttino is getting a raw deal and its totally tacky for francis to keep going on about playing the 2.

Initially, I prayed we'd make the playoffs to get the Rockets some playoff experience and for Yao to win ROY.

Upon further consideration, it may be a good thing they don't make it for precisely the reasons that Manny stated.

Playoff experience is fantastic for teams that will contend in 3-4 years.

Minnesota can make the playoffs for the next 10 years but won't advance very far because outside of KG, that team is a hollow shell. We are not going to contend anytime soon. And when and if we do contend, it won't be with these players.

This is not about being negative. This is just a fact.

Steve Francis: very good scorer, average passer, below average defender.

Cat: Decent scorer, below average passser, average defender.

James Posey: Not a good fit on this team. Francis can't run the break - negating Posey's biggest strength. Posey is an above average defender and a below average scorer.

EG: Enigma. Who knows. Below average in every category except blocking shots and looking letharic.

Mo Taylor: Abover average scorer, below average rebounder and defender. Good off the bench but does not offer the rebounding or defense this team desperately needs against the Western Conference PF's.

Yao: Im hoping Yao does not win ROY. He should not be satisfied with this year's performance. Yao needs to learn NBA style basketball emphasizing Strength and speed.

He will be the key because he has the greatest opportunity to improve. He is smarter and younger than almost everyone on the team. Whether he has the toughness or athleticism to take his game to the next level remains to be seen.

What he needs to convey to the Chinese governemnt is that excelling in the NBA is the best thing that could ever happen to the Chinese govt and the National team. If he cannot communicate this effectively, the government will force Yao to undergo the same antiquated training methods that have made a 7'5 giant play like like a 5'5" little girl.

GO STRONG TO THE HOLE.

Coaching: I swear the Rockets and the Texas Longhorns have the exact same coaching staff. They'll tell you what's wrong and how they are making adjustments to correct problems but the final product is as predictable as yesterday's news.

Find ways to solve the problems that exist on this team.

Finally: There are 2 obvious things about this team.

1. They are a close group of guys who aren't good at playing team basketball.
2. They think theyre better than they really are.

Finally (Part 2): Moochie Norris is one of the worst players in the NBA yet subs for both Steve Francis and Cat.

Gangsta-Playground Ball?

What they Hell! I think that's a little out of line PLAYA!

First of all, this season is not Steve's fault....Get over it! If you want to blame someone, let's start with the Coach! It's his Gansta-Playground system that got us in this mess. Memo to Les.........The Dream era is over, get a another coaching staff in here.

That's all I have to say Playa!

Exactly Steve, suck it up, you're our leader. Not Ming, not Rice, you. F*ck what everyone else is saying, do u really think Kobe's defers to Shaq, heck no. When T- Mac dunked on Kobe, Kobe came back, waived off Shaq and retaliated with a dunk him self. You are the best player on this team. This team counted on you to lead them. You let them down, for now. 3 letters, MVP, Kidd will never be a MVP as much as he's making his teamates better, he doesn't help the team dominate. As much as Magic is a heralded passer, he had the balls to shoot a hook shot from the free throw line instead of throwing it to Mobes with almost no time left. It's up to you to win until Yao prove otherwise, you failed. Take the summer off, think about how you are gonna LEAD next year. Not defer the responisibility, we pay you the max for a reason. See how Marbury played at the end of the season, that could've been you, do you think ppl really care if you shoot 40 times, if we win that's all it matters to me atleast. Do what it takes to win, not just make everyone happy.

I did some research, so I hope all of this is right...but if the Rockets would've won all of these games seen below---(these are all of the below .500 teams that the Rockets lost to this year)

Nov. 5th - vs. Seattle: 104-97 - L
Nov. 24th - @ LA Clippers: 90-89 - L
Dec. 13th - @ Memphis: 114-109 - L
Dec. 14th - vs. LA Clippers: 94-83 - L
Dec. 27th - vs. New York: 99-83 - L
Jan. 4th - vs. Golden State: 86-84 - L
Jan. 10th - @ Atlanta: 84-75 - L
Feb. 5th - @ Cleveland: 105-102 - L
Feb. 14th - vs. Miami: 94-82 - L
Feb. 25th - @ New York: 102-95 - L
Feb. 27th - @ Washington: 100-98 - L
Mar. 18th - @ Seattle: 100-94 - L

we would currently be...
53-27 - 3rd in Midwest & 4th in Western Conference

all of those loses sure does add up

Darn, i'm so frikkin [IMG] right now to lose this game tonite.

We need this game BAD regarding the fact that we have losing record against them this reg season, and the urgency to enter playoff with better momentum and self confidence !

Just have to give my props and utmost respect to these Suns, they're really deserved to play in the post season. They're just a BAD match up to my team

I dunno, if you can look into Spurs forum, you can see the doubt in our fans mind creeping right now, they know that the 1st rounf playoff won't be a walk in the park anymore ( no offense to the Rox, but we are more worry about playing against Suns in the 1st # rather than your team )

I still have my confidence on my boys, but they really have to step up their game and effort to make sure our team won't be the newest best record joke of the league after the Sonics were in '94 against the lowly Nuggets

I got NBA League Pass for this????

What a disappointment. There were some high points to this season, and there were some encouraging signs...

... but the bottom line is that there's no way I would have believed before the season (and especially after we started so strong) that we wouldn't even make the playoffs.

A few (not wholesale) changes need to be made. The first one being the offensive philosophy of this team. Then we need to figure out which players fit into that philosophy and act accordingly in the offseason...

I think in order for the Rockets to be in the playoff next year something need to be change. This whole season is full of excuse (from youth to not enough time to getting used to each other, etc.). The bad thing is the Rockets at the end of the season is worse than the Rockets who play in December (when they beat the Kings, Pacers, Spurs, etc.) So, time didn't do anything for them except regressing. I am willing to be patience if I see a hope in the thing that they tried to do. But as the season went on, I do not see the team gelling together at all. In fact, they start to play less as a team and more as an individual as time went on. Because of this I am now convincing that the system that the Rockets used right now is not working. If management stick with the same systems and the same players, there is a good chance that we will be in a lottery again for the fifth straight year. They got to decide if the players are the problem or the system are the problem. But they got to fix one or the other in order for us to have a chance next year. Golden State and the Sonics have something to look forward to next year because they see an improvement in their plays as the year go on. On the other hand the Rockets keep staying around mediocrity with no light at the end of the tunnel. If they think the talents is here then they need another system to fully utilize that talent (my vote). If they think the players are the problem then they need to get rid of those players who does not fit the system. No playoff, no draft choice, and no hope in the same system are very disheartening to the fans. If Les want to fill up the arena next year he better give the fans something to hope for in the off season.

The Cards hammering our ace, The Wizard, did not make things easier. I thought we finally solved those hated Cards. Oh well.......
