Unfortunately I missed most of the 4th quarter. But anyone who doesn't think George Karl isn't a major part of Denver's problem is crazy. He's gotta go. Getting outscored 81-47 in the 2nd half of a key game late in the season is inexcusable.
As much as I dislike Amare, I must admit that this guy has improved his FT very much and his jumpers (around 10 feet) seems promising too. I didn't watch this game, he has another huge FT shooting night, how's his jumpers looked anyway? Offensively, he is convincibly better than Yao now.
Offensively, he is the best and most explosive big in the league. Defense (particularly) and rebounding (somewhat) are very hit and miss. The Suns can be scary good offensively. Amare and Shaq impossibly match ups down low, Nash running things. Their other players, defense and intensity--those are things they can't always count on. Don't judge Denver based on a half. At least give them tomorrow. I expect a split.
This is why Denver is not an elite team. They are very inconsistent and can not get stops on defense when they need them. Shaq is looking better and better for the Suns. His presence has allowed Amare to pretty much dominate.
I learned everything i need to know about Denver by watching how they played us in our last meeting. It was a huge game for both teams, and they pretty much just crumbled against the hungrier, smarter, yet less talented team. My dad, who knows nothing about basketball watched 3 minutes of a nuggets game and said, 'It looks like this Denver team is all about flash.' Sure, he based that observation on their headbands and tattoos, but it pretty much sums them up perfectly.
^ This I have the liver of a member of Motley Crue. Sadly, no. That would be a welcome relief. Assuming? Hell, as soon as 8 minutes left in the third, I told one of my friends that not only were we losing that game, we were going to get blown out tonight. I hate this team.
I really feel for you Nuggets4, It kind of reminds me of our Francis time. It was so frustrating to be a Rockets fan, yes we did win games, but we could play so stupid at times. Hang in there.
The Rockets deserve to see that crap! Say YES to Denver and a first round matchup against the Rockets!
