The only two positions who were not debatable are PG and C (Bledsoe and Len). Then Suns' FO goes and signs a PG and C (Knight and Chandler). Now BSOTS is trying to find the same excuses for the move as when Thomas has been signed alongside Bledsoe and Dragic. They are not done with signing, but the beginning of FA bonanza is a bit strange for them.
I'm glad the Mavs get screwed over, but I just don't get this from the Suns point of view, unless they signed him now with the intention of trading him when the cap goes up.
They realized their plan was crap and completely changed tack. Kudos to them! They may wish they had let Bledsoe walk, but then again, he is a useful asset and not overpriced. Should get some value in return?

Hes pretty good and young who suffered through one injury so his rookie year he didnt have the chance to play and develop. But hes loking to become one of the next generation of really good rim protecting centers. And he was their only center after letting go of wright so he and tyson shouldnt have a problem with playing time. He can mentor him too and finally fix the lockerrom. There wasnt a more dysfunctional lockeroom un the league last year than the suns. Too many bad seeds. however this deal is too godamn long and too much $. Potential to become an albatross. The cap rise will help from making it unmovable. Tyson is already slowing down and has a ton of mileage on his body. i thought he would sign with us but for no more than 3. Glad he didnt. Ofc if by some miracle chandler lands them lma then it was worth very penny and more.
