The game that was on????? Gasol had a very mediocre game, and don't let the stats mislead you. Overall the Laker bigs didn't do a great job securing the boards, considering how much of a height advantage they had. Looking back, I take what I said back about Kobe playing better than him. What I guess I was really trying to say was that BOTH of them underperformed. 28-17 is very normal, considering the matchup...it's the defense lapses and general air of apathy that bothered me. Kobe shooting alot doesn't, and neither does his FG %. Though I would've liked him to be more of the facilitator that he was during the first few games, I think he knows that eventually they're going to need him to shoulder much of the off. load, and is trying to regain his touch. Plus, most of his shots were totally makable by Kobe standards. Gasol got rejected by Frye during crunch time on a soft fadeaway jumper- What does that say about his mentality? btw congrats to the Suns, they played a hell of a game.
