    Ouch!

Steve just needs to learn how to short his trap. It is one thing to be cerebrally challenged but it is another to expose that fact to the rest of the world. Like my father always said - you do not have to answer every question.

I can't call them a return of the 90s Sonics. The Kemp part is there, but Nash only has one facet of GP's game (though he does do it a tiny bit better). Marion as the part of Shrempf? X-man? Ricky Pierce? The comparisons don't go too far.

No real dead eye shooter or stopper on this roster. Just a lot of strong offensive pieces from 1-4. I honestly can not think of a team that this squad is a ringer for. Maybe the 82-84 Sixers.

The Lakers and Celtics didn't run to the title - they did whatever they needed to do to win the title because they were complete teams stacked with Hall of Famers - and the talent level on those dynasties is vastly more than on the Suns right now.

Throw the Suns on the court with either dynasty at their peak and spot these Suns 25 points, and those teams still win.

In the playoffs, you're going to get less opportunities to run because teams will cut down on turnovers and play better transition defense, so you HAVE to be able to execute in the halfcourt and play good defense - that's why Jason Kidd goes from being a great point in the regular season to near worthless against a top defense in the playoffs.

The Suns are way underrated imo. Wait until the Rockets play them and everyone here will have a different opinion. Having said that, the Suns are 1 injury away from falling back to the pack. They play their starters heavy minutes and sombody is bound to get injured before the season ends.

D'Antoni may not know squat about championship teams and running half court offenses, but neither does our old friend Steve Francis.

D'Antoni has the best team in the nba and Steve is on an okay ballclub.

That's not bad. That team could have won a couple championships with a little luck.

Kidd DID go to two NBA Finals, and although was swept by the Lakers, his Nets pushed the Spurs to 6 games. I wouldn't call that worthless.

Something about this has the potential to be supremely ironic. If the Suns have the best record and the Rockets limp into the playoffs at #8.....our old friend Steve will have to root for the Rockets to prove his point that the Suns can't run their way to the Finals. Ohhhh...the irony!!! :D :)

That was out of the Eastern Conference - he was an annual flameout in the WC playoffs. And while that Spurs series did go to six games - it was an offensive nightmare - hard to give credit to the starting point guard when a team is scoring 70 and 80 points a game.

If the rockets make the playoffs and face the suns in the first round the rockets will be moving on to the second round,
