Suns going solar to power their arena

    Maybe they'll play a outdoor game with the Raptors in January, in Toronto..
    just like the outdoor NHL games..
    That would've been fun

    Agreed. Not that either climate is particularly bearable in peak of summer, but Phoenix is much worse during the day, imo. Better nights, though. Not great in summer, but in mid to late spring and fall, there's nothing like the dry crispness of the air at night in the desert.

    Plus, according to some data, Phoenix is sunny about 85% of the time compared to Houston's 59%. Phoenix is definitely better suited for solar power....though it should and could work fine in Houston, too.

    Sorry treehuggers we are going to stick to LOX, LH2 and my personal favorite Kerosene.

    That's stupid

    If I were them I'd power the arena on gasoline and styrofoam cups

    It is only fitting... the Suns and solar energy. Perhaps they should change their mascot as well.
