@awexler: RT @ESPNSteinLine: The NBA's 30 teams have just been notified that Phoenix has won waiver auction for Luis Scola. UPDATE: http://www.nba.com/suns/news/suns-awarded-scola-use-amnesty-childress
(two Scola/Suns threads?) Thank god, Luis didn't end up in our division. I think it's a good fit for Scola. He'll step into the starting role, play next to an effective big man, and his point guard comes straight from his old team. He could have done worse. I think Luis will quickly become a fan favorite in the Phoenix area. Congratulations, Luis, and make the doubters here eat their words.
Mixed feelings. On the one hand, I'm glad Scola isn't going to a hated rival such as the Mavericks - on the other hand I'm pretty bummed for Scola that he isn't going to a contender. I was hoping a team like OKC or Boston could pick him up.
Gortat - Lopez Scola - Morris Dudley - Beasley Mayo? - Brown? Dragic - Marshall Not bad, especially after losing Nash
They should be better than last year. Nash is overrated just the same way Aaron Brooks was. You can't play one side like crazy and then just give it all back on the other end.
watch him score 30 points in his first game against our sorry team. We have no post defense and lack anything in the paint .
Well, on one hand I feel bad Luis is not going to a contender like the Thunder, but, on the other hand, I am glad that he is not going to the Mavs or Jazz and that he will be playing for the best medical staff in the world.
