I can't disagree that his value might potentially be at the highest with a team option for next season. I will disagree he's like Matthews who is dependent on his volatile shooting and nothing else. KJ can incrementally improve his shooting and his basketball IQ as he has the physical skills to be at least average offensively and defensively, opposed to someone like Matthews.
You all are a bunch of low iq basketball people trying to trade the one bright spot on our team. He is becoming a great player who should be starting full time for is. He freaking leaps out of the gym!!!!!
I think we can all agree that the Suns are not interested in trading CP3 given their championship aspirations. but I do think we could put together a competitive package for Cameron Payne. Not sure he’s the answer but the Suns aren’t trading CP3.
Feels like I got the essence of what your point was and my retort is that KJ isn’t reliant on something volatile to get a contract or peak. I don’t believe you thought they were similar players or it was your point.
It speaks volumes about our front office. Extending Tate, trotting KPJ out there at PG...extremely frustrating to watch. Doubtful. His value is probably a late first
See, I think he is ultimately a quality NBA starter, it may take another year or two but I think he gets to that point. He's pretty close now if you ask me ... decent shooter, decent defender, great in transition and fantastic cutter that makes the offense flow complimenting Green / Sengun. No, I don't think he's a superstar / allstar .... As for sacrificing assets. we have plenty of draft assets to put in play over pieces that fit as well as Martin does. I really think they are a lead guard away from being a 50 win team. ???/Nix Green/KPJ/Christopher Martin/Eason/Mathews Jabari/Tate Sengun/Bruno/Garuba The right guard acquisition in the coming offseason and this team is off to the races.
I agree that he should be starting for us. But we are probably the only team in the league where that could happen. I’m not suggesting we give him away, but to improve the team, you have to give up quality to get quality.
KJM is making good progress. I do think a starting PG is our biggest need. I wonder if the Magic might agree to trade Suggs for KJM and KPJ. My guess is no. I do think it might have a chance of going through.
Yeah I’m much more bullish on our front court guys than our guard play right now. I love the idea of developing Garuba, Sengun, Eason, and Jabari. Those 4 are excellent front court prospects. to me the question is who we put at the 3. None of our guys are natural small forwards (Tate, KJ, EG), and I do realize the league has moved away from the prototypical 3. This is the logjam we need to clear out via trade. I wouldn’t mind giving KPJ some minutes at the 3. sorting out the 3 spot and acquiring a legit good point guard should be the priority. If moving KJ is part of getting that right, I’m all for it.
I would love to see Ayton to thrive in our roster. Under the guidance of Silas, he will be a superstar. Hakeem 2.0
plus hed be firing 6 3s a game! oth alpi on suns with cp3!! WOW... man i think i would have started watching nba games again perhaps
