True that. I hate all these so called glorified scrubs that think they can shut down All stars. Starting with Bruce Bowen to James Posey, Raja Bell and Ruben Patterson.

While I have no love for the Suns, I just can't bring myself to root against them since that would mean the Lakers would advance to the next round. The Laker fans are annoying enough as it is. Suns fans won't get any more annoying than they already are since the Lakers already fed them their humble pie. In fact, since the Lakers went up 3-1 and then lost their lead just like the Rockets had last year, we need the Suns to put a 40-point whipping on them. Then we won't have to feel as bad.

You are my man! Living here in LA, I feel the full force of Laker fans annoyance. I said it before and I'll say it again. The whole Lakers organization, from the owner to the coach to the players to the ex-players to the fans, has this arrogant sense of entitlement. Everything is there for them to take simply because they are the Lakers. The rest of the NBA exist to give glory to the Lakers. They are the Evil Empire!

Rooting for the Lakers to win is fine because they're going to get destroyed by the Clippers anyways. Odom/Brown combination doing that well against Brand and Kaman? Are you serious?!?

It's not a surprise that Kobe is a dirty thug. Just ask Mike Miller.

Yeah I guess Bruce Bowen only THINKS he can shut down All-Stars, from Kobe Bryant to Dirk Nowitzki, Ray Allen and Shawn Marion.

I remember Tracy McGrady (this season) having a lot of trouble/frustration with James Posey and Raja Bell.

Oh and who did Kobe go off for 50 on? Raja Bell? No. It was Leandro Barbosa.

Yeah but sometimes there is no stopping All-Stars, I mean how in the hell did Kobe hit all those crazy ass shots this series? The guy is (a prick) amazing.

I don't think anyone glorifies Ruben Patterson as someone who shuts down All-Stars.

He himself does... proclaiming to be the so-called "Kobe Stopper." Thats like Erick Dampier saying he's the 2nd best center in the league. Sounds pretty clownish to me.

^You're right, I was only thinking about the playoff series, I didn't even think about the regular season where some of my other examples came from.

I never knew Ruben Patterson considered himself the Kobe Stopper, that's kind of sad really.

I was never under the impression that Raja Bell, Bruce Bowen, and James Posey think they are great. Raja Bell is OK but he's no where near Kobe and never will be, but, that doesn't mean he has to respect Kobe's attitude.

And yeah that's why I put (this season) for T-Mac, because of his injuries.

Also, I wouldn't call Bell, Bowen, or Posey "scrubs", because I think they do well in their respective roles on their seperate teams, AND

That term is reserved for Rockets role players... :D

give me Bell on the Rocks anyday. He's the sort of guy we should go after.

Decent-Good defender, nice offensive player with solid 3pt shot.

Bag him out all you like, you know we could use a guy like him on our team!

Funny you say that, because I was lobbying for him like crazy when he was a free agent last year, I always liked his game and think he's one of the best role players in the league. He would be a Bruce Bowen type role player on a good team with established superstars. I thought he was a good signing by the Suns.

So yeah, he was one of the top FA on my wishlist last year.
