this has to be the worst case of attempted humor from anyone in any country. even the damn Tibetan Monks can do better than that with a bunch of cops beating them down like Rodney King.

if you read one of the articles way early in the thread, then you would know that dalai lama is not the same person as he is pretending to be right now. he met with chairman mao and other leaders before the exile. what he wanted was to keep his upperclass status where the upperclass would continue to own slaves and disregard the poor people. of course, communism isn't going to allow that. there shall not be any social class in tibet, that was the message. then he revolted with his monks and upperclass. it's only after he found out that he can't go back anymore, then started to act like he is all about peace to gain support. if you read the history of lamas, then you know they aint all about peace.
