Indiana - L (Veteran team too tough early in season)
@ Dallas - W (Dallas jinx is over)
Sacramento - W (Lot of running- great game to watch!)
@ Seattle - L (Gary Payton is out to prove a point in this game)
@ Sac - W (Momentum from 1st meeting carries us in this one)
Dallas - W (Jinx is already broken)
@ Portland - W (Probably wishful thinking, but I think Rockets come out w/ a vengenance)
@ Van - W (COuld loose this game if we do beat Portland in an emotional game)
6-2 for the month (call me the eternal optimist after 2 wins!)

Some of our loses could have been wins with better freethrow shooting and less unforced turnovers. I think that is reason enough for optimism.

    Indiana: W
    Dallas: W
    Sacramento: W
    Seattle: L
    Sacramento: L
    Dallas: W
    Portland: W
    Vancouver: L

A win over Portland because Kelvin, Walt and Carlos have something to prove. Reverse the theory for the Grizz.

LOL, MoDunks. tds99...FYI...Oakley plays in Canada, but not in Vancouver.

I like PhiSlammaJamma's prediction....glad I didn't make that one, because probably someone would have gotten on my case already...;-)

Indiana - L (1st game of a back to back for Pacers, damn)
at Dallas - L (2nd game of a back to back for Rocks)
Sacramento - L (1st game of a back to back for Kings, damn)
    at Seattle - L
at Sacramento - L (2nd game of a back to back for Rocks)
    Dallas - W
    at Portland - L
    at Vancouver - W

    4-11

The home games against Indiana and Sacramento should be close. Indiana has to play the Spurs the next night, so we may be able to catch them looking ahead. The Kings play Dallas their next night, but they won't need to be looking ahead [IMG]

The home game against Dallas is looking to be a must win.

    Seattle: W (108-26)
    Sacramento: W (111-1)
    Dallas: W (170-72)
    Portland: W (205-0)

That could never happen, my produce-monikered friend.

    We've already lost five games.

    77-5 BABY!!!

    Popeye,

Now you remind me I've always wanted to ask - Is Francis from France?

By the way, Axeman added wrong for his picks - he's 4-11 and not 5-10. Actually, that's still pretty optimistic from Axeman.

Also, to be considered ye ol King of ClutchCity, you have to get all the winners correct and not just the win/loss record. Of course, picking the correct win/loss record should itself be considered very - let's say - clutch.

  18. Bluto basher...Id really really like to say 6-9, but the intestines are telling me 5-10 (count two losses to the Kings) Last year, we simply out scored them, due to their horrible D. This year, with a year seasoning of JW, CW, and VD, combined with the Rox inability to score over 90 pts this season could spell doom.

Damn if the freaking Heat can light it up with Pat "whats offense" Riley, why can't the Rox score more points???

German...DOH! My bad. Kevin Willis. Still Barkley could have a good game. Here's to hope.

ok guys i am going to take a serious crack at this 1....here we go
of course I know we lost to Indiana so I'll start with Dallas, if you guys dont mind??

    Dallas-W
Sac-W (we get our first home win!!!)
Sea-W (this will mark the Nat coming out party for St. Francis)
Sac-L (then Williams out highlights him)
Dal-W (Francis throws in 32 with 10 assist)
    Por-L (I really wanted to put a W here)
Van-W (Francis breaks NBA record and scores 101...but has 23,in honor of MJ, turnovers, and 14 assist, gets triple if you count turnovers)

Rockets 7-8 Does this count since Posted after the Indiana game??
