Sun Yue definitely has some potential. This block on Mike Conley was pretty sick: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XnVyBcCqc4c"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XnVyBcCqc4c" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
On TV, they called him "soo , yu:", "酥油", lol, so wrong. "sun" is easy, it is just 'soon'. It would be a good contest to teach your American friends to pronunce "yue" .
You have no idea of what you are talking about. Sun isn't turnover prone at all. Before the last game, he was at 4 to 1 for assist to turnover, the best in the SL. Even now he is at over 3 to 1, still very good. He had two 9 assists games, even the CNT is probably the worst in talent in the whole SL.
he still has a long way to go before he can contribute. and Lakers is not probably not the best place for player development as long as Kobe is there and wants to win NOW. I'd be happy if he turns out to have a WZZ like career.
NO. Sun's potential might be big but don't put hope on him in 2 years. He hasn't become a starting player in the national team. And Chinese fans don't expect him to be picked in even second round. He will not be able to play in NBA right now.
In the summer league game vs. the Knicks, one of the Chinese guards was bringing the ball up under pressure, and did a spin move that sent the defender sliding like 20 feet on his butt. Does anyone know which guard that was? It might have been Sun, he was pretty tall...
The only other guard on the CNT that I could see doing that is Chen Jianghua, and he has a broken foot so was obviously not playing, thus it was probably Sun. There is no freaking way Liu Wei could ever pull a move like that.
