this game reminds me of the first yao-shaq matchup in yao's rookie year. yao had flashes of brilliance at the begining, blocking a couple shaq's shots and scored on him as well. and then it went all shaq and all night. last night was a reverse!!! yeah baby, yao's finally got a chance to dominant shaq! wake up and smell the coffee!
Yup, like the way that Yao's playing. I would be pissed off if he doesnt get 1st team all -center this yr.
Wade made a very smart political statement here. Notice that he never said Shaq was the best center. He just implied it saying that we know who it is. D-Wade knows. Nice smart move on his part. [/QUOTE] Yah.. agree... Wade is a SMART guy. Never say clearly who is the best, but every single SMART people knows who he is actually pointing at!!! Our big fella ''YAO''.
Nothing like a player who can destroy his competition and then compliment them. Love you, Yao. Enjoy your MVP year.
An email exchange I had with IW: My pleasure. Such are the advantages of watching in person. -----Original Message----- From: xiki To: Winderman, Ira Sent: 11/13/2006 9:24 AM Subject: ESPN Reading your write-up of last night's Heat/Rockets game it seems to me you must not have watched/listened to the telecast on 'the worldwide leader' (sic). I watched and feel you have encapsulated the contest fairly while the insidious drivel of the ESPN 'team' was aberrant, embarrassing, and offensive. Thanks for a good article.
In their quotes, the Miami players sound petulant and are demonstrating my all-time pet peeve, losertalk. Riley is going to have to put his foot in this team's butt because they sound like a team with no heart.
