hehe :D I thought it would be funny to post a new thread detailing Jeff Van Gundy's Summertime activities. Where he is going. What his future plans are. Fishing. Going to Hair Club for men. I heard some rumors that the Knicks want Van Gundy back in New York but I can't see it since Dolan just renewed Isaiah Thomas's contract. There is a coaching vacancy with the Pacers and I'll bet that Larry Bird will be going after Van Gundy.

Rumor Pat Riley Steps down and hires JVG to coach the Miami Heat. Jeff returns and hires Stan Van Gundy as assistant coach and the Heat regain the Championship Title. LOL

Jeff, after Gm 7, leaving Toyota Centre thinking, "Damn, these bunch of p*****s couldnt win with a lead and 4 minutes left. Otherwise, Les will be on his knees begging me to come back. I tried to show Les I am the boss by not taking the contract extensions he offered. It's a little stupid looking back now. I swear if they give me Nash, Kobe, T-Mac, Duncan and Yao, I will championships 5 in a row. F*ck Phil Jackson!!! I am better than him. He's just a lucky b*stard. He must offer his behind to make Dennis Rodman play for him. Bonzi wants my behind and I told Bonzi "F*ck off! Dont touch it.". At least I am a man of integrity. F*ck them. They just dont know how good I am."

JVG is the last guy I'd worry about. He's a millionaire many times over already. Besides, he'll get a lucrative TV analyist contract whenever he wants.

Except he benches Nash because he doesn't tough enough defense and Kobe because Kobe complains about not getting enough playing time and telling an LA Times reporter, "I was the T-Mac before T-Mac was T-Mac."

    :p

Whatever JVG does I hope he lightens up and enjoys life.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that even if he thinks he might be fired, he is still working, watching tape, working on plays, until the very hour that Les tells him to clean out his office.

He was in attendance at the Rice/Baylor baseball game last night. Didn't leave when the rain came, either.

That is funny. He probably enjoyed the rain, especially since it ain't gonna stop raining anytime soon for him. Good luck wherever you mr. Van Gundy. You weren't my choice but I still wish you well.

If he doesn't be a Rockets coach he'll probably go to the TNT. I read that on probably sports.yahoo.com
I'm not worry about Jeff too.

i know the majority of you disagree but thats ok...I hope he is back, which doesn't look likely...
he will be missed more than you guys believe....
the people on this board jump on and off the bandwagon of players/coaches so fast, its unbeleivable...
there is nobody better out there, so why are we getting rid of JVG? to get some more offense but lose our defense mentality that JVG brings? tell me how that makes us betteer...trade our signature defense for an offense that we don't even KNOW that we have....so next year we might have a horrible defense and unless Head, Alston, Novak, V Span, Tracy are shooting 5,000 jump shots a day to get their wide open shots on target, I don't understandn how offense is really going to be that improved....

I think JVG should star in a reality show about how far can you withstand smiling with famous comedians cracking jokes, I'll bet he will do well. :D

Not as good as my reality show idea:

School of Hoops: JVG coaching a Junior High Girls basketball team.
