This Rockets SL squad is an absolute train wreck. Not only do these guys not know what they're doing but they dont even complement Reed at all. The bigs specifically.
The announcer on the right acts like he has 0 love for anything Rockers. Who are these butt holes?? Even the way he said bye was like, I could care less about you and your org now leave.
Which is crazy, he'll legitimately set picks, but the big men will only set fake picks with no contact. It's good that these guys will be back working at Home Depot when the Summer League is over.
The bigs don't even seem to know how to set picks. Just no fundamentals at all. They look like a bunch of gym stiffs not used to playing organized basketball.
Reed Sheppard is soft as tissue. We've been waiting all summer to see him play and now we have to wait some more. I'm tired of the run around.
He'll probably go back out there one more time...I mean, he's already got 25 minutes of a 40 minute game.
I'm not sure what they were doing when they put this group together. Good Lord Cameron Matthews looks like a big YMCA guy.
Pretty much everything coming up short, Sheppard will need to boost up that cardio before the real season. Lifting is great, but it's time to get his legs right.
I actually do think Reed will play better with the real squad than on a SL team where he has to do it himself.
I saw Samuel create two fake picks to get the ball lol. I think Dante is the only one to set real picks so far.
Terrible awful game by Reed on both ends. Wasnt just the shooting. Passing, ball handling, defense and effort all looked worse than game one. Looks shell shocked which is also not good. He's got to play better than that. MUCH better. His teammates are terrible and he pretty much has to self generate 100% of his offense, but thats not an excuse for the multiple areas he fell short in. Do better next game Reed.
