Probably while the ramp up of Team US is at the same time. Little noise around Summer league overall.
Quit griping... you got a least 3 pics from the Rockets. Any summer coverage outside of the draft has been sparse the past few years, I thought. I don't remember, but I remember people complaining in the past about lack of summer coverage. I was hoping for something other than a couple of pics with Reed Sheppard in a Rockets uni so far.
I see Jack Gohlke is playing with OKC in the Summer league. I was hoping the Rockets would get him so that he could walk into the locker room mean mugging Reed Sheppard like the Sandman did Van Damme In Death Warrant.
Just remembered the game was tonight. I still don't have power. Arrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!
"From what I've been hearing, Alperen Sengun is going to be on the Rockets Summer League squad. It's a contract year and the Rockets are still unconvinced about his future."
What a year for the Rockets to get the #3 pick. They needed an elite shooter and they have gotten one that projects to be amongst the best shooters in the past decade if not longer. It was interesting to hear Stone say that if Reed Shepard wasn’t there at #3, they had trades lined up to trade away the pick. We are all aware that the guys drafted ahead of him have prototypical size and superstar potential for their respected positions. However, they are going to take 3 to 4 years to develop the NBA style game. Shepard on the other hand can help the team with his shooting almost immediately; though other aspects of his game still need development. I think most fans are ecstatic about what Reed Sheppard can bring to the Rockets.
Agree. Getting Shep filled several needs on our current young roster (elite shooter, playmaker, STOCKs collector, etc.). It is also the perfect setup to have him intern under FVV for 1+ years. Can't wait to watch tonight's game! Also excited to see Cam, AJ, and Dante.
Me, I have power, but AT&T Internet is still sucking hind tit, so I don't have my streaming DirecTV that they talked me into getting last year. So hoping for Internet and hence DirecTV so I don't have to watch on (squint into) the app on my phone.
I've held the line on keeping the DTV satellite, which when weather is bad pivots to Internet access. Gives me a back-up each way--risk mitigation for my sports addiction.
