    Aww we lost!

That was a hard played game by both teams. Great effort from the Houston Rockets.

    AARON BROOKS FOR ROY! :p

Im definitely looking forward to seeing Brooks in the lineup for the Rockets...the guy has to refine certain areas of his game, but he's just starting out and by the looks of it, he has lots of potential.

On the downside, Im not as impressed with Novak as I was last year.

I love Aaron Brooks. He has speed and quickness like Tony Parker and even has his floater. And unlike Tony, he's a sniper from long range. He's ready to contribute next season.

    Novak looks terrible though lol.

    Definitely.

James and Brooks as our PGs...I'd be very happy with that.

i know its summer league, but brooks needs to play better D in crunch time. That guy (i forget his name) shouldnt be taking him on the first step But brooks is a good player. Just hope it translates to nba regular season

That was actually a great game, even with the loss.

I'm very impressed by Brooks -- the kids got heart, and is a leader on the court. We really fell apart with him out of the game for the first five minutes of the fourth.

I love Mike Harris, too. Double-double, perfect from the floor and the stripe -- whats not to like? He's very aggressive, and repeatedly beat bigger guys for offensive boards. It's just a shame that he's not 4 inches taller and 20 lbs wider... we would have a phenom in the making. Nevertheless, I hope he gets invited to camp.

Thus far, I'm very unimpressed with Landry, and I think we will end up regretting taking him over Davis. Landry is small, short armed, and slow footed -- which is just an ugly combination for a hustle power forward. I'm still hoping for the best, but he seems to be a no-impact type player.

Andre Emmett, on the other hand, was quite impressive. Low minutes, but very high impact -- he was just as responsible as Brooks was in our little comeback.

Novak is still his clueless self, but I'm just happy he had his moments this game. I can't believe this is a player management wanted JVG to play -- yes, his shooting is at times brilliant, but he's barely highschool everywhere else! He does all the things a coaches son is expected not to do, its rather depressing.

But overall, fun game to watch, and definitely some good potential shown.

    well:

    1) if he is gonna even get any playing time this season he better dominate in the summer league

    2) and his all around skills look better imo

One difference i see between Lucas and Brookes is that Brookes seems to be a much better passer and even a better dribbler. Who knows maybe he'll end up like lucas, but i like him thus far.

And the summer league streak comes to an end. :(

Brooks looks to be better than Rafer already on offense. He can at least finish near the basket where Rafer is absolutely useless.

Adelman was interviewed during the Mavs SL game and said that he seen Brooks play "all year long".
