I knew I shouldn't have expected much from this game seeing as how each player is really playing just for themselves and has no choice but to do so but it doesn't look like anyone on this roster is going to make a big impact on our team too soon.
Boki is looking disappointing -- at best a project. He sort of reminds me of Langhi as he always seems to be moving fast, trying to score, but not accomplishing much. Hopefully he could look better as a role player with Steve and Yao. Badiane is looking like a 44th pick project who is quick and can really run fast. At least he looks like he is physically up to the game. I really hope I'm wrong with Boki. There seems to be no improvement over last season for him. He does seem to be in better physical conditon. Perhaps in a year or two he'll be able to contribute. Unfortunately my connection or monitor or something is not really up to good watching. I guess that is why you can cancel.
Noooooo! Well my predictions look to be right. Our sucky team is going to be 0-5. Carroll Dawson should be calling Terence Morris right about now. But this is a summer league team. Our real team should be able to come up with loads of offense. Boki...................bust?
Boki looks terrible. He cannot shoot to save his life. Luke Walton is driving by him at will and getting him all turned around. I am very disappointed so far with Boki. I know it is the first game, but we look terrible.
It's halftime so I rewound the tape to see Badiane again. And I still think the Rockets should keep him and not send him overseas for a year or two. They should let Ewing teach him the game. After looking at him again, I guess you could say he's an athletic Mutombo. But it's obvious the guy is just learning the game. You can tell by the way he moves and his defensive stance. The one time he did pst up he did a really quick up and under but stepped out of bounds. He was going to dunk it too. Like I said very raw. Badiane and Nachbar are the only players on the summer squad who should be on the team.
It's just one game but maybe we're seeing the real reason why Boki didn't get any minutes last year. Hell, even Dan Langhi was able to dominate in the summer league. If Boki can't put together some good games over the rest of the summer we might have to just keep him as a 12th man and bring in Piatkowski.

Boki with back to back baskets. One on a drive and one off a pick. You can tell this guy can shoot when he releases his shot.
Boki needs playing time. What is Hawkins doing there? Is he there to distribute and get others involved or to show he can score in this league? Ba looks good on boards.
