Welcome Thunda, If it is the same as previous years, you get in you stay in. The atmosphere is rather informal, with some of the players walking around the stands talking to friends/family, and the stands are not very full. Kinda feels like a little-league game.
thanks for the info SHANK! noone else said anything, so i thought i'd encourage you to keep up the good work... it's interesting to look at the rosters of some of these summer league teams and see some of the highly touted prospects of the past still getting shots to make the big time. like the o'bannon brothers on the terraza team or jaron rush on the sonics team. i'm especially curious about the sonics team. they've got alot of young, promising players on that team. if you see rashad phillips play (GS), i'd be interested to see how he does as well. and i'd also like a biggie fries, and a coke. just give me the biggest one you have. how much is that? ------------------
Sounds great... I plan to attend on thursday.. Can I buy tickets when I get there or do I have to call and get them that way? I will also try to get a hold of a digital camera so I can snap some shots of EG and company!
Yes, you can buy tickets when you get there. Seems to be more people there this year than last year, but still no danger of sellouts (except for the Magic Johnson all-star exhibition they're hyping for next Saturday). ------------------
Isn't Jason Skaer a local kid (Oklahoma St. Then Rice and before that Deerpark High School)? If so I played in some pickup games with him at my high school one time. AHHH my claim to fame Also I thought Calvin Jr. was the third best player on that Strake Jesuit team. Whaddya Think? ------------------
