Yee-hoo! I get to see the RMR games in Salt Lake! 5 dollars for games all day long! Tyson Chandler! Eddie Griffin! Rudy T! Carroll Dawson! Yee-hoo!

BTW, you can touch my post.

Last year I got to sit right behind Jerry Krause while a fan made fun of him! It was awesome!

Seneca Wall huh? Man, he was a great all around player for the Bearkats. Good on the boards and assists, steals too. Granted, he played in the Southland Conference. But he tore it up!

Omar Sneed is a nice choice.I live in Clear Lake, and a couple of years ago I went to a San Jacinto CC basketball game. I remember Omar Sneed was the star player on the team which included Steve Francis (ya, the one on the Rockets) and George Gervin Jr.He was one of the best community college players. He is VERY talented and could be a Bo Outlaw or Isaac Austin kinda player.

Does anyone know where Calvin Murphy Jr. played college ball and what his stats were like? I know he played at Willowridge during high school. Has he been invited to camp just to make his father happy, or does he actually have game worthy of the NBA.

The games are at Cal State Long Beach. Look for the big blue pyramid -- that's the campus arena.

Achebe, last year in L.A. I sat behind Del Harris and listened to him trash the Lakers for 20 minutes (talking to another former Laker employee). [IMG]

I'm telling you guys, watch out for Jason Skaer of Rice. He's a 5 tools player. He can make this team. He is much better than Mihm and Najera!

    Southwest Conference traitors SUCK!!

I saw Calvin Jr. play during his first 2 years of HS ball at Strake Jesuit, and man could he light it up. He left b/c he wanted to live with his father, and I guess his career kindof went down from there. But he was looking like a future blue-chip prospect early on . . .

We are going to try to make the game on the 16th, but we fly in that evening. We went 2 or 3 years ago also (when we knew someone who was playing).

Anyone know if video is allowed? It seemed pretty relaxed last time so I would think that it would be OK.

I kind of like Darius Miles' quote about Griffin from the McDonald's All American Game last year :

"I thought Eddie Griffin was the best player out there... He's an NBA player.". This of course was after Griffin went off for 19 points in 20 minutes. [IMG]

Those words are from the same Darius Miles who scorched Eddie's ass for 41 points in a highschool AAU game 2 years ago [IMG] Hopefully Eddie can redeem himself.

Leave it to TPL to screw up a whole "damn, I just can't wait" moment. [IMG]

Besides, Gerald Wallace (com)busted Darius Miles for 30+ points and helped hold him scoreless once. So there... take your Darius Miles stories and stick 'em. [IMG] [IMG]

    Just got back from a couple games at the Pyramid tonight. The first game I saw was the NBA PROS (Penny Hardaway, Bo Outlaw, Bruce Bowen, etc.) vs. TERRAZA (Drew Barry, Corey Benjamin, Charles O'Bannon, etc.) Impressions;

    1) Penny looked really agile and recovered from his injuries. Played at least 30 minutes of smooth ball.

    2) Bo Outlaw was by far the most athletic of the group and also was the crowd favorite with some awesome dunks and swats. Played with some high energy.

Game 2: LA LAKERS vs. GRIZZLIES.

Man, I was really looking forward to this game, but found out when I got in that Pau Gasol wasn't even on the roster, and Shane Battier didn't play even though he was on the roster. Stromile Swift played, and scored 11 points and had 3 blocks at the half. I left at half time. Will Solomon played point for the Grizz most of the first half and looked tentative with his jumper, but showed alot of quickness with a few steals.

Anyway, I got a hold of some floor tickets for the Thursday Rocket/Clipper game. Sonics/Bulls play before them so I'll get to compare some of these draft pups out first hand!

    Hey everyone...

Long timer visiter (about 2 years), and I finally decided to post something...

I just wanted to let you guys know that I will also try to make the rockets' games since I live in L.A.

Also, do any of you guys know if you have to buy different tickets for different games, or one ticket is good for all the games that day? Info greatly appreciated.

Omar was nice at San Jac. I haven't followed his post Ravens career like I have other RunninRavens, but I did think he had an offchance at making the NBA.

That was an amazing team that season, even though they didn't win the championship (the San Jac team is almost always a top 3 team in the country, but rarely make a lot of noise in the championship tournament, which is strange). But I always liked Sneed. In fact, in a lot of ways (including appearace, body and face), he reminds me of a smaller version of Mo Taylor.

Rockets need power forward. Mo near now. Go near Mo.

You can Run from the bet, you can Rave at the bet...but you just can't hide.
