Hmm, looked taller than that...guess its just cause he's so skinny.
Still, nice size for a guy who appears capable of playing the point better than anyone else we have at this point in time.

That's what I didn't like to see about him. Whether it was due to his teammates or his opponents, he looked visibly flustered by the second half. Once he was taken out of his rhythm, he didn't seem contribute in other ways.

But it's only summer league, so we'll see.

D-Mo was begging for the ball early on and never got it... My Q is why in the hell could a guard or SF not just pass the man the ball when he did the work to beat the hell out of his man and have the position to kill him at the rim?

I hope players get reamed out of their asses for this... A big man that posts up and beats his defender and never gets the ball????

NUF said... D-Mo is playing with rookies.

The kid was taken out of his rhythm early, and was physically out match by that "overweight kid Siler", the guy had like 50 pounds on D-Mo.

Every player has a bad game, its about how that player recovers and plays the next game. That's really the tell-tale sign.

Royce looked like he gave up when things weren't going his way . . . very disappointing.

This is why dmo cannot be a starting center in the nba.. he is more suited to be a pf....

If we had a real PG or made some free throws, this game would've been ours. I'm not going to knock on D-Mo or White for their offense today. Big men need to be set up by their teammates.

i dont like cocky players who havent proven anything in the NBA, D-Mo was talking so much after 1 summer league game( and i personally didnt like that).. reminded me of Morris( comparing himself to Carmelo Anthony with Defense).

You notice its always the great players who dont like to compare themselves to others or say stuff like "this is too easy".. Europe is tougher, but try to let their game speak for itself.. and continue to work hard

its why i love Parsons so much.. he just goes out there and plays kinda like Lamb

If you don't get the ball you try, try, try again. you don't just give up. I'm not going to back the guy up because he tried for the first three minutes of the game.

Yeah that PG play was horrific. Which did limit D-Mo effectiveness on offense.

But there were times that D-Mo did seem a little passive. Specially on the defensive side of the ball.

But I do think D-Mo may have underestimated summer league competition. This loss should serve as a good reality check.

With that said I think he'll make corrections and bounce back great in the next game.

That was FUGLY ... Lamb and Dragic were about the only bright spots .. I'm not gonna be too hard on some of these other guys because the pg play was horrible .. Kind of hard to find any rhythm when your playing with pg's that shouldn't even be running a junior high team. I'd be putting fortson on a bus if I were the Rockets ...How in the hell is this guy still around ? he looked like **** last year.

10 assist total from everyone and 13/32 at the line WTF is that .

Is this about D-Mo or all the bad things like... not boxing out players by the team on the floor. The DAMN ball was punted around like a beach ball in this game in like a "Las Vegas style pool-party" with a "beach ball" as the winning prize...... rebounding was F..ed up early and the coach did not call a timeout to fix it.

I'm just pissed about not getting D-Mo the ball down low really on when he did his job to clear and clean out his space ...

if he rebounded i would have forgiven his horrific shooting night, and his terrible post D

    but he didnt

    Kelvin Cato redux

I would rather keep Lamb and pair him up with Dwight.. new Shaq and Kobe in Houston

Well White didnt change my mind again. Thought he looks like one of our weaker players. Isnt doing anything well and not standing out on either side of the ball. Dragic stood out on defense, looks slow and sluggish on offense. But not alot of opportunities. Our PGs are bad, but I wish they atleast would take a damn 3pt shot. No telling how many times I seen fortson/machado get the ball back at the 3 pt line wide open and they pump fake and do nothing with it. Take a damn shot its summer league.

Oh, you mean like MJ, Kobe, LBJ and Barkley? Yeah, those guys were really humble and let their game do the talking....oh wait

D-Mo didn't particularly have a bad game, as people already stated he beat his man a ton of times but the other players wouldn't give him the ball.

Besides its just SUMMER LEAGUE. I don't want the players going all out and injuring themselves.

Knee jerk much ? Just setting yourself up to look like an idiot. Dude has a long way to go but comparing him to Cato after one bad game is just silly.
