To me hes a positive player on defense, hes not a classic big guy rim protector but has a nice positioning , active hands, good at def rebounding and blocks...hes so smart, talented for basketball, given opportunity and good coaches i cant see him not becoming a very good defender in NBA
Sengun had 15PTS 15REB 4 BLK 3AST/1 TO 3 Fouls +18 on the court Mobley had 6-17 for 12 PTS 5REB 0 AST 5TO 4 Fouls -1 on the court I don't think it's close as to who won the big man battle here
Too much hate towards Mobley. It sounded like his Dad was the main reason why he didn’t want to come here.
Jalen Green : 23 pts (9/18 FG, 4/9 3s), 5 rebs, 2 asts Alperen Sengun : 15 pts (3/10 FG, 9/14 FTs), 15 rebs, 3 asts, 4 blks Josh Christopher : 10 pts (5/15 FG), 5 rebs, 4 asts Evan Mobley : 12 pts (6/17 FG), 5 rebs, 3 blks, 5 tos
Oh I’m so excited about Sengun and Green. But Christopher should pass more. His shot selection is bad.
Pretty impressive that a guy who shot 3-10 from the field may have been the best player on the court.
Can we send tape of Sengun over to OKC and Presti? Maybe add some Turkish delight and a thank you card.
Decent game. Green showed flashes of looking special. Sengun looked good, needs to actually score some as well as getting to the line. Christopher looked better as the game went on. Honestly didn't see the hype with Mobley tbh, very glad with the pick we got.
I think Sengun looked like a better player than Mobley as far as actual basketball skills. Mobley is the far superior athlete, but taking 0G and then Sengun looks like the perfect move so far.
Jalen Green showed the impressive shot making u expect Mobley had some moments, but without good guard play to set him up for easy buckets, he’s gonna struggle mightily offensively for awhile
