    I was joking with a friend about this a couple of years ago and asked where all these Aidans, Jadens, and Jalens started coming from. There was a WSJ article about it a few years ago. The name "Jalen" existed before Jalen Rose, but like others said, it was his naming and the Fab Five that made it popular. This ESPN article about it is a pretty cool read :

    Reminds me of an article I read about a 2 year spike in the name Shaq/Shaquille…I think by 1996 it became obsolete again.

    Also the vaccine doesn't necessarily prevent you from getting the virus but it prevents you from getting so sick that you need to go to hospital..
