The thing is, our two lowest potential players - Brooks and Lamb - have played NBA minutes already. They are going to be above average for sure. Garuba can lock anyone up, his age group are deer in headlights compared to him. Sengun is the MVP of the Turkish league - any current MVP of the Turkish league would star in a summer league. Add to that Christopher. That’s surrounding the #2 pick who scored at will on a really good TS% in the g league already.

i don’t see anyone with that much depth, even if their top end is a bit better than ours.

    Something special brewing imo.

Sengun is probably the best passer on that team and there's a few like Green who can create for themselves, but there's not really anyone on that roster that is good at creating for others or running an offense.

That said, it's Summer League, you don't have to be good to look good.

It will most definitely have to be on Green and Sengun... the other guards; Brooks, Christopher, and even Thomas can help bring the ball up the court outside of Green but I definitely see these guys trying to get out on the break and running as much as possible.

It may not be winning basketball that we witness in the SL this year but at the very least it will be extremely entertaining. Plus, this is their chance to get their feet with by going up against and also working with some NBA level talents and experience.

so no true point guard then? i suspect we can expect a lot of dribbling around and chucking 3s over the hand of defenders?

i trust Sengun with the playmaking but not sure if other guys will be able or even willing to get the ball to him...

it shouldn't be that way... if you serious about the winning you do things the right way from the start

Our SL team does not have a true PG.

There's going to be a lot of turnovers and miscommunication issues methinks.

    But loving the enthusiasm.

I bet all the other 29 teams have the same theory but only a smaller group get it right.

Winning doesn't really matter in Summer League. These kids are a while away from making any impact in the league.

Then that’s what Green will work on. I bet Christopher gets a run at point.

Passing game is overblown, I think Sengun (if he avoids foul trouble) and Green will dominate anyone in ISO and one of them is a great passer. Green, Brooks and Christopher can handle summer league point guard duties I think. Add one PG and we’re good to go.

True, especially if you left off with CP and JH.

Jalen is going to dunk on Mobley and KMJ will block his ass as well. Can't wait for Sunday!

…and then Mobley’s dad will scream from the sideline “Keep your head up son!” and wrap his arms around him as he walks off the court dejected…and then @i3artow i3aller will make a GIF. :D

SHOULD be an easy win for Rockets, they have the more talented and deeper team.
