dude wants to score 30 as a rookie. The kid is gonna get a reality check fast. Remember when lonzo ball lit up the summer league then pat bev “introduced” him to the league

Yeah, he'll probably have a few games where he does get 30...but no way he's averaging that. Think he'd be lucky to average 18

My concerns with Green before the draft were his handles and shooting form.

He took a lot of tough shots first game cuz he couldn't create separation off the dribble. But to his credit, he made them.

In this game, the Pistons crowded him, and he'd either get stripped or have to pick up his dribble.

His decision making is not great, so he turned the ball over a few times when under pressure, or even in transition.

His shot is slow and low, which resulted in him getting blocked 3 times (one was called a foul late, but looked clean).

    His defense was not good.

It's two Summer League games, but I'm no less worried about the flaws in his game than when we drafted him.

    Love Sengun.
He needs to work on his finishing in the paint around other bodies. I think being undersized probably makes these tougher.
He has good shooting mechanics, but he needs it to be more reliable. Just gotta work on it, he has tons of talent.

Liked Christopher a lot. He's relentless on defense, and has pretty good handles. Needs better shot selection still (or needs to shoot better), but he was great value at #24.

Can't wait to see Garuba on the court. He will make an already smart, athletic defense look phenomenal. He's an even better positional defender than Sengun with the same kind of active hands/timing.

Forgot to give a shout to KJ.

Started slow again, more worried about murdering Piston players with posters.

Settled in, and had a really good game.

Keep working on that shot, it's looking better every time.

Lonzo Ball is nothing near Jalen Green though. Jalen would toast Bev very quickly.

Guys, as far as the #1 pick thing, Jalen takes challenges to get better personally.

This is an MJ trait if you ever watched him.

For a guy this talented, with his work ethic to have that I personally love it.

A Inefficient Game by Jalen Green being Double Teamed, Pistons playing a Zone, LOL. You know that is very lazy Coaching and shows weakness. Not playing man to man. And Double Teaming Jalen Green, Pistons Mentality is Weak.

The Rockets Players are so gifted with their Athleticism, Speed, IQ.

Coaching is doing a tremendous job, Josh Christopher literally is getting better as a Point Guard.

KJ Martin Jr. Is playing excellent in shooting 3s and Dunks, Blocks.
    Playing like Robert Horry Level.

Jalen Green is getting better at defense, and being a Great Player.

Alperen Sengun is really another Franchise Player. Just Dominating on Offense and Defense, With Rebounding, Playmaking.

Lol that’s a fact he will def get a reality check when he goes against the superstars in the NBA.

but I love his shooting it’s really good he so confident with his hot and it’s really smooth.

he’ll be better than Lonzo his rookie year but ya he ain’t getting 30 a game MJ style rookie season.

he needs to add weight bad he’s really skinny and his handle while it terrible is still shaky.

I liked seeing him get to the line this game tho that was very impressive.

he’s def a true shooting guard he’s not a harden type that has elite play making. That’s okay tho cause I now I see that him and kpj won’t get in each other’s way.
