Yea and this year we don't have Lin either. PG/ PF / C are all positions of weakness now in terms of depth, and the wing spots will be too if we don't match Parsons. Our team has a lot more holes than it did yesterday.
McHale didn't trust dmo on LMA . he dodged the question on some radio show and said " I don't feel comfortable with that" when addressed why isn't dmo playing for a few min to give diff looks to LMA
if they really do that 3 team trade as suggested by BIMA they can shore up the backup PG , and the PF areas somehow. Too bad greg smith actually recovered from his surgery earlier than expected! why did we cut him for powell??? we didn't even use powell!!! now smith on mavericks.
technically the only who was raped was TJones, his awful defense on LMA and that stupid inbounce play when he was doing nothing but just giving an open pass. Donuts even not showup tho.
I don't think DMo played a single minute in the playoffs. In fact, I was hoping McHale would try him out and give Asik some rest.
so we got a negative record We were always dominating in Summer League before. Can't remember last time that happened
Well this summer league our big guys from last season didn't play most games (Covington and Canaan), and our first round pick this season and one of our seconds this season didnt play either. But I guess the biggest reason: the last two seasons are highest pick was a late first rounder - our team is baiscally a bunch of veterans now, where every rookie has a hard time to even make the 12 men roster. That's a good thing by the way.
The team didn't have any high picks on its summer roster back in the Yao/McGrady days, either, and it tended to do well in the summer league.

Is there a reason no one talks about Nick Johnson as a PG instead of an undersized 2? Based on what I've seen it seems as though he has a tight handle and good passing skills.
