Its time for him to show that rebounding skill against the real competition. The team should experiment and use Dorsey at center at the start of the game during the pre season and see how He fairs against real competition. He just has to polish his offense and have a reliable post move to crack the rotation of Adelman.

Jermaine Taylor reminds me of Derrick Chievous from many moons. A slasher, scorer in college who was exposed in the NBA for lack of a consistent shot, a fatal flaw for a shooting guard.

    Hope I am wrong.

Frankly, I think a consistent shot is one of the last things you look for in a scorer out of college. Did Jordan have a consistent shot as a rookie? Did LeBron? Did Wade?

Shooting mechanics and consistency can be improved. There are other things that are harder to acquire, like ball-handling, vision, athleticism at the rim, a strong body in the post.

Perhaps others share your feeling too. Is it really a surprise a white man can both hop and shoot at the same time? lol.

    1.....Chase is a man, not a boy.

2.....What does his color have to do with anything?

I think Chase is a real steal. This guy is ready for the NBA. I think the Rockets are need his scoring touch by the time this year ends and maybe even depending on his scoring sometime this season. He clearly is a guy that if you dont double team him like in College he will torch you at high field goal percentages one on one in limites minutes too. This guy should have been a first rounder and quite frankly I think this a case of the white guy syndrome. He clearly is one of the best shooters of the draft, the best athletes jumping wise, and has one of the best ranges and B-ball smarts. That should have added to 1st round if he where say a darker guy. Not saying this is bad just saying he is underrated. A high field goal percentage shooter on a big college team with tough opposition and not undersized or unathletic? How else can this be explained? Maybe the head stomp had something to do with it. Other than that the could have been top 14 maybe. I usually dont get excited about players but with this current season he may actually see the playing time to realize that potential. Good for us he suffered the Manu and Nash syndrome.

Asian "thugs" saying "White boy" is just rich....

    Hypothetical...
(Can't believe Budinger and Newley both have been outplayed by the black boy...)
    Disgusting...
You should have been backhanded more as a child I'd say.
