Oh yeah just wait until you see it.

The guy does windmills and tomahawks on regular basis like its nothing. There was a reason he was rated a top 10 recruit in that class behind guys like Greg Oden and Kevin Durant.

I already said this in the Von thread which you ignored or missed: there's always the Euro-stash option. Before summer league in an interview Budinger made it clear going to Europe was a possibility and he wasn't a lock to make the roster, and the rockets bought his pick too. The rockets bought Lull's pick too, and he'll be in Europe next season. If Taylor makes the roster it'll be based on merit, not because they spent 2mil on him.

I saw that, but they would have to convince Chase or Taylor to do that, and if you are them why would you?

They paid $2 million for each of them, even if Morey thinks one is a mistake, say Taylor....they will give him a 1 year shot.....to validate the expenditure.

And, who knows....Landry looked like crap in the SL...maybe Taylor will come around too....Chase though, he looks VERY VERY good....such a high BBall IQ (for you meanie).

Man, Chase looks so smooth and composed on offense. As long as he doesn't absolutely suck on D, then this was a major steal at 44.

Agreed, and I did not like the pick at first.....he really has looked amazing.....and not just the shots he is making but the way he plays....so smooth, so calm, so composed, and so smart !

Stashing US players in Europe is harder. The players have to agree to it otherwise they just get released or accomodated with a trade.

This was the first SL game I watched this year, and I agree that Budinger looked pretty good out there. But I'm trying to remember ... did Novak look that good back in SL also? I'm just tying to gauge if this is something to genuinely be excited about, or if I should just chalk it up to playing against inferior competition.

Is that really "bbiq"? I mean, sure, it's a smart decision. I think it's more about him not wanting to embarrass himself by bricking FTs. When you know you suck at the line, your instinct to get rid of the ball kicks in. I still wouldn't exactly call Dorsey a bright player yet.

Novak lacks athleticism.. he was strictly a spot up shooter in the NBA.. I think Chase can be more than that because he's more athletic than Novak

No, Novak did not look that good, I don't think anyone has looked this good in the summer league, at least team play wise.

Sure players have been hot, Brooks, Greene etc......but they all had the ball in their hands and just were individually good....Chase looks like Brent Barry out there, so good, so composed.

Luenan looks great too, but Chase looks ready to run the Rick Adelman read and react offense today.

Now, on D, not so much, but offensively he is ready.

Why u guys keep comparing Budinger to Novak?
Chase has much higher Basketball IQ & more athletic.
I'm dreaming he would be our Peja Stojakovic.
