RAID and myself are driving out from LA the morning of the 10th if you want you can always come with us we will be coming back the 12th night though. can just split the costs of the hotel etc. email me through the board if you are interested
just bumping this up for those going tomorrow and this weekend. I be the big indian guy wearing rockets gear should meet up for some wining and dining afterwards/during etc.
fly southwest airlines, get a 20-30 dollar hotel room, why do you want to spend time in a hotel in vegas. also, the buffets are all crap, basically the "extras" you think you're getting are all junk, trust me.
Like as stated in the other thread, I will likely miss Friday, but will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Will look for you guys in the stands. Man... my first time back at the Thomas & Mack in... wow... 15 years. I think the coach was Rollie Massimino, Bill Baynor or Tim Grgrich when I saw the Rebels play on a team starring Kebu Stewart.
the games the first weekend are all in cox pavillion it will be easier to find people since its a smaller arena i just hope its not too crowded
Thanks for the tip. Actually don't know where it is... but it shouldn't be too hard to just ask either cabbies or hotel employees to help me find Cox.
its the same place as thomas and mack center the Thomas and mack center is the big arena and upstairs there is a adjoining smaller gym that the cox pavillion where the lady rebels play. basically to the right of the box office at thomas and mack there are the stairs that lead up to the main entrance of the summer league. once in going left takes you to the mid level of thomas of mack and going right takes you straight into cox pavillion
My gf lived in Vegas for like 3 years and we were planning to go for my B Day on Labor day weekend. This maybe more insentive to go out there. I'd love to see how the rooks look in real game action. We're still planning but I'll be sure to hit ya'll up if I'm up there.
hey Kwame is in Vegas, call him up. Yoyo, I always run into nba players at the venetian, so check it out. The San Marco place there has some good pizza.
