Thanks for the advice. I plan on being a CPA. Would you recommend finishing my masters as well or would just having my CPA be enough to get a good job?
Where are you planning on working? Most states require that you get your 150 hours to get licensed these days.
Yea it sucks about the 150 hours. I believe it falls short a semester of getting a masters. Hopefully I'll be able to get in with an accounting firm or energy/oil. I really am more interested in audit however.
A CPA is enough to get a good job. How far along in the program are you? If you can't get into the big4, you should be able to get into a mid-sized cpa firm. It shouldn't be too hard to make 150 hours. You may need to take a post-bac class, but shouldn't need to get a masters.
