You should look for the local AIESEC chapter, or just sign up at the website and wait for them to contact you. I think ASAP is better, since there is a selection process, and I don't know when it would start for you guys, but for my friends, they were having meetings a few months before. You might have to wait on certain things, but to get in touch with them, and know a little bit more about it, and get an idea of what country and program you want to go into, you shouldn't really wait that long to get started if you're really interested.

Now, caveat, I'm not so sure how it works down in Texas...AIESEC is a pretty huge organization. I believe they have a chapter for UofH.

I guess sign up, declare your intentions, and see where it goes, and get some information. It is an option.

My nephew just got back from... I forgot where, Thailand maybe, a few months ago. I think it's a 3 months program or something. He had a blast and the selection process isn't too difficult, because if he can make it, anyone can.

Or you can move to New Zealand and teach English.

Sorry double post. I forgot to add, I think AIESEC is a college program designed for college students. So you might wanna sign up now before you graduate.

It can range, they're pretty flexible on it. Usually it's 3 months for summer vacation, but for graduating students, the internship can last up to a year and a half from my understanding. It all depends on the person applying though, and what they want to get out of it.

Why don't you purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka?
