I am usually not a superstitious person but I do think there is some bad karma /feng shui going on at Toyota Centre.
This is what needs to happen. Get rid of Ron Artest and Rafer Alston and bring in Steve Nash. Then trade T-mac and Head to Milwaukee for Redd and expiring contract Damon Jones. You then have gotten rid of your two most injury prone players in T-mac and Artest but you also gained a 2 time MVP All Star Point Guard, Michael Redd, and Damon Jones- who is crap(which you would let his contract expire and resign Von Wafer for up to $5million next season). You wanna go deep in the playoffs, and get rid of the extra baggage? Then ditch the cripples and bring in some veteran leadership and some higher percentage field goal shooting. Morey I did the work for ya now just go get it done. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...teams=21~21~15~10~10~10&te=2763:15-2178&cash=
A) Michael Redd is a SG not a PG. B) In 06-07 He played only 53 games, in 07-08 he missed 11 games. In his 8 years pro he's only played two full 82 game seasons (So the "Ditch the cripples" thing doesn't really apply.) C) Steve Nash isn't exactly having succes with a dominant center, why would that change here?
That's exactly it. Go back to the retros. Those jerseys were way better than anything else we've ever had anyway.
A) Never said Michael Redd was a PG B) He's healthier then McGrady right now isn't he? C) Nash is fine with a dominant center, it's the coach.
Arnt we trying to rid ourselves of injuries? Why bring in Nash then? Plus, why would they trade redd for tracy?
The way it was written threw me off. What I'm saying is Redd isn't exactly an Iron man. You just never know if he could miss time he has a hystory(He's also 29). With Nash yes you will get a better % PG but not a guy who can thrive with a dominant post player. You can blame Porter but Nash has openly criticized the Sun's new approach.
Its a known fact that Nash has some back spasms but it never keeps Nash out for more than a game or two at a time and has never been as big a deal as McGrady's knee/back or Artest's ankle. Nash would be fine. As far as Redd goes, I guess you haven't done the research on his salary and when his contract actually ends. I really wish if you are going to question something please do the research instead of making someone back track and try to back up what they already backed up several posts up. If you don't know why a trade like that could or would take place then you obviously don't know the business side of NBA basketball.
Let's go for aswers have to be the soul of charles barkley that he left here maybe the spirits of the quitten drama maybe the spirits of matt maloney crying **** but i agree it have to be done CALL THE 93-94/ 94-95 team and let's fight against these demons call all the HOF they got super espiritual powers Hakeem have to be the witchman
I bet there's no one else on the team worryin' about the injuries like the old time, esp when T-Mac first came here. Everyone seemed lost when T-Mac and Yao both went down with ******* INJURIES and played poorly on the court like a NBDL team against most of the teams.Right now, with our BIG 3 sidelined, they find 'emselves out on the floor and know exactly what it takes to win a ball game.Okay, sometimes they just failed to do it,but they did improve 'emselves mentally, not relying the most on our star players like before. If it hit us like it's slated for, just so be it.It's what it is.
Hope the Rockets won't go the same old routine like the Chinese celebrate Lunar New Year every year round. Atleast 2nd round and farther to the Western Conference Final. All best wishes,we'll see in the late April
Absolutely. All to make a lousy buck and try to become 'America's Team"... This ain't Dallas. And if it ain't broke (the uniform), don't fix it.
Who was the PERSON responsible for the uniform change? Who's frickin' idea was that? That's like the USA changing its flag to green, red, and purple after WWII, 1946.
There are only 2 ways to break the curse. 1) Move back to the Summit. 2) Fire the athletic trainer and the doctors.
