Does the XPS allow you to upgrade memory and hard drive easily yourself?

Comes with DVD burner, truelife screen, integrated wireless...everything you need for movies, music, web surfing, and light gaming.

You get a free upgrade to the Core 2 duo processor (normally costs +$100). I also HIGHLY recommend you double the RAM to 2GB for $24, change the cd burner to DVD+/- RW burner for 15 dollars more and upgrade to a 120GB hard drive for just $5. Those 3 upgrades bring the grand total to $480

I'd say macbook or an XPS. Leopard is far superior then Vista and if you go with a microsoft o/s definetly do XP. You don't have to deal with spyware with mac and as far as the right button thing that Jeremiah mentioned. If you get a macbook just put two fingers on the pad and click. Same as a right mouse button. I do think you get better bang for your buck with an XPS compared to a mac, but I love my mac. The new macbooks have the two finger zoom in like the iphones do which is pretty cool. The new xps laptops have a built in finger print recognition which is also cool.
