Does anyone have any suggestions for where to park (preferably free parking) to watch the downtown fireworks? What time do they shoot them off and what would be a good time to get down there? I haven't been since high school, and we used to park along Washington Ave. But with all the new development on the street, I was wondering if there were better places to watch. Thanks in advance
Haven't been there in a long time either. Just keep driving on the freeway and then stop i-10 or 45 like most idiots do. http://www.houstontx.gov/july4/parking.html theres also that. the last time i went, was when i was young. i parked at the HPD office near Washington.
I honestly haven't been in like 15 years, or I would have made a recomendation. we were thinking of driving down to Houston for the show, but decided to BBQ some country style ribs and potatoes instead. Happy 4th!
