Yes, I know you were referring to the 4th quarter. And there was more than 2 low posts to Mo. bet me!

As far as game strategy, what do you think the little world of figuring out defensive reactions is all about? You are in the simple world of thinking game plans are about yelling for your rotations and passing around the "touches" to who you think deseerves them. I try to report what the coach is doing, in inject any of my own naive subjectivities. What you fail to understand is the coach must maintain team chemistry through proper player management. Rudy clearly had to light a fire under Mo's ass early, and playing Kenny a lot will do that. Plus, it has the dual benefit of making Kenny take advantage of every opportunity. Now Rudy is in the position of having Mo playing well and Kenny burning Jamison's ass to THE RIM 3 consecutive plays in a row in the 2nd quarter...find another backup to do that.

Without player management like that, I could argue that Mo gets lazy with his 35 mpg out of the gate, and Kenny get disgusted. MManal, you show little respect for the difficulties of being a coach and doing player management. That is where I see a lot of fault in your commentaries. Your commentaries are a dime a dozen, because they blame a coach into oblivion when you don't like what you saw, and only suggest a completely different approach. There is such thing as talking about what they defense did and how we can counter that in with the same strategy.

Fact is: we will get the ball to Mo in the 4th in do course. But that (like everything else) will be stopped by certain defenses. That doesn't mean Mo sucks, any more than Mobley sucks now for being the primary focus of other defenses. We must advance the whole offense. It is not as simple as you claim: "we need to give it more to Mo."

take your parting shots...I'm done, and I won't challenge your opinions again, cause you are as sensitive about your opinions as they come on this board.

First off, blaming Rudy into oblivion is not what Im doing here. Blaming into oblivion and bashing is the kind of stuff posters did with Jason Collier, Mo Taylor and ones like Caveman absolutely trashing Rudy T. You can think that if you want tho.

Why dont we all just descend into your world of overanalysis and great understanding of traps. Our response to posters questions and issues can go as follows.

Issue #1: Cuttino Mobley is not feeding a wide open big man in the corner off a screen and roll play. He should move the ball and not try to challenge so many defenders and take a forced shot.

The response from HP's world of overanalysis: How dare you bring that point up. Cuttino faced such a huge trap from the great Boston Celtics and there was no way he could get it out of there. How dare you say he should pass over it, I watched the play 450 times, and he should have dribbled out of it. Even though the end result is Mobley still did something wrong, your analysis is semantically wrong and that makes you a dime a dozen idiot like The Cat. Oh and btw, your opinions hold no weight like The Cat's b/c you live in the simple world of good ball movement.

Issue #2: The Rockets 4th qtr offense is bogging down and they need more diversity by throwing it into Mo in the post.

The response from HP's world of overanalysis: How dare you question Rudy's play calling, do you even realize that coaching is the most difficult job on earth? Rudy should continue to let Moochie run down the shot block and stagnate the offense instead of going to other options. I mean, that could completely piss him off since the chemistry is so fragile. How dare you look at such broad things like ball movement and offensive diversity? I can get so much of a better understanding of the game by watching a trap 450 times on tape. Oh ya, and your an idiot like The Cat.

Now maybe you are overreacting. You should know better than me ever taking anything you say personally. Me calling you belligerent is a jab from you calling me that in my early days.

Yes, I overreacted here, maybe the fever I have has me flipped out, too. But it was more about expected copy cats of your thread title, than any direct personal dis.

You do know many contribute to the plays, not just me. You actually guessed the next one due out this week--"24 High" against all defenses. Your timing kind of flattened my enthuasism with expected easy sarcasm about drawing up a play that is, in your words, a "real embarassment".

Yup HP I guess Clutch, The Cat and myself all overreact and exaggerate. Your the only one who is level headed. Oh ya and your new found counterpart Dakota is also Mr Objective except for when he flips out and wants to trade Steve Francis away for Andre Miller or Michael Dickerson everytime something goes wrong.

DoD,,,you're right! I take my bball too seriously. You've always been right. I wish you a dish for xmas.

Crisco...I read your SOR story about your dad a month ago...I still can't forget it.

    MManal...now for some fun:

let's compare each other for a second...I think I know more than you, and you think you know more than Rudy. And we are both a "dime a dozen" for thinking that.

    I love this game!

    merry christmas!

I am still wondering what Moochie was trying to do in the 4th qtr last night. I was wondering to myself if he had been sitting by Cuttino Mobley too long and had picked up some kind of "shot clock killing" disease. Moochie had shown the ability in the past to efficiently run the offense and set teammates up for shots; I have no clue what got into him last night. It got to the point where he wasnt even looking for his teammates and simply trying to create for himself with that hesitation jumper after killing the shot clock. Very very painful last night, not to mention, Cato needs to get back into playing shape.

"and you think you know more than Rudy"

I have never said that I know more than Rudy. Posters like Caveman who want to continuously fire him think they do. I am merely suggesting different types of strategy. You dont think Rudy discusses things like this with his coaching staff while they watch tape and chart the plays? If I thought I knew more than him, I'd be piling on his every move which I dont. Most of his strategies Im fine with, but I only point out the ones Im not ok with which is why it may seem this way. You call out others for exaggeration, what do you think that statement just was? Anyways Im through with this thread, you can think whatever you want or label people as whatever you think they are. Personally, Im not going to lower myself to this immature name calling that you seem to enjoy engaging in.

They don't know about the drive-bys you do in ClutchCity.net Chat when we're down... I've never seen a person that can flat out diss the entire team in 20 seconds and be gone within 25 seconds. LOL! [IMG]

    DoD,

If my wife ever lets me move one of our PC's into the living room, I can stay and chat longer. I have to run back and forth during timeouts.

Drive by dissing....Now that is funny.
