I'm not comparing who he's passing to. I'm sure you're right that Draymond wouldn't be as effective without Curry, but I would still take that for running the offense.

Reaves > Harden factoring in age, pay, and play

Just to remind you !! The Lakers have two decent player which would fit our Roster!
Reaves and Hachimaura. both can be had at a reasonable rate. Reaves would play the back up
Point Guard and Hachimaura would play the starting Power Forward with Smith playing the starting
    Center. Y

Reaves is a shot maker. This team badly needs guys that can hit open looks consistently.

This is what I'm expecting too. They'll cut bait on DLo and use that money on Reeves. Max, poison pill, whatever. They'll do what it takes to match and keep their 3rd best player.

I'm impressed by his composer and handles in his very first Playoffs. If he develops playmaking abilities somehow forget Harden. Hachimura was sensational as well but I think the Lakers chose Reaves. If not what kind of offer can the Rockets make for Reaves?

DLo played his way out of a contract in that playoff series.

I expect the Lakers retain Reaves on a max poison pill and match Hachimura too .... Russell will play elsewhere next year - I just hope it's NOT Houston.

    Lakers are SWEATING.

They're activating all the classic Laker-loving media personalities to scare people off. I do NOT believe it.

    You don't believe they'd match @ 4/$98?

I think it's 50-50 and they're doing everything in their power to scare everyone off so that they can sweet talk Reaves into a cheaper deal and some under the table benefits. I don't think Jeanie is happy to spend a lot of luxury tax on a team where the best player is a sometimes-present AD and the third best player is Austin Reaves.

Both showed out in the playoffs and would greatly help the team and likely continue to do well for a few years.

I was checking to see if someone said it...even though Austin Rivers is white :D

I don't necessarily agree that Jordan Poole is so much more skilled. But, if you listen to the full clip he actually lists a number of reasons Reaves could be better or more effective even if less skilled.

Christian Wood is extremely more skilled than say Clint Capela but Capela is far more effective and useful.

Jabari Smith is a 4/3. It would be dumb to to start him at center to let him get beat up. Seems like all your lineups are either trading Sengun or bringing someone in to start over him.
