If by interesting you mean dangerous I agree with you. I had a mechanic who had a shop in acres homes. He would tell me about the walk up and drive by murders every time I would come in for a tune up. He finally left the area after 20+ break-ins despite the razor wire and dogs.

QFT. I especially don't mind Sugar Land as much now that 59 has it's own zipcode.

Sugar Land. It's like a China Jr., if you are in to that stuff.

if you've lived in houston your whole life and have never heard of acres homes, you're doing it wrong.

anyways... the woodlands is easily the best suburb in the houston area (i'm sure as hell not counting the villages). there isn't anything even close imo.

that being said, inner loop all day every day.

The fact that no one has mentioned Kingwood is exactly why I love Kingwood. ;)

The Woodlands, nice, clean, outside of city, big mall, good restaurants, can get anywhere within 10 minutes, no traffic... only con is majority of housing in the area is expensive.

That's the problem with suburbs. You just described Sugar Land.

I've probably visited Sugar Land only a couple times, and I don't even remember those times. So I can't really compare the two or comment on that area.
