chuck got owned so bad on post game. it was almost uncomfortable how humiliated a man could be on national TV. they kept asking him about his declaration that houston would lose and how tmac doesn't make his teammates better. the entire time chuck had his head down like the kid in class who doesn't know the answer and is desperate not to be called on by teacher finally he stammers something about his being right about the Cavs games and fumbles trying to form a coherent statement about tmac's game until finally Kenny interrupts him to try to save face for him "thank you kenny for that" is all chuck can say
Why does anyone take Charles Barkley seriously? The guy is obviously there for entertainment value. I'm with Tinman though Chuck played great for us in 1997, retired a Rocket and said some great things about Houston, Dream and the organization. I'm guessing he still has a soft spot for the Rox and all his stuff on TV is mostly schtick.

This is great. Last year Charles started beef with the city of Oakland right around the playoffs. He kept doubting them and hating on them for a while. Never gave them credit. It seemed like that fired up the Warriors and helped motivate them to beat the Mavs in the first round.

Exactly. Not to mention that it's ridiculous to say that McGrady deserves all the blame for not getting out of the first round. Maybe he just flat out wasn't good enough to lead the team he had to the 2nd round. How does that make him a player not worth supporting? Why not similarly criticize Yao or Rafer or anyone else on that roster? McGrady plays in the playoffs at least as well as he plays in the regular season... it just hasn't been enough yet.
