Chuck admitted he was wrong and then tried to save face by saying that the reason the Rockets are winning is because they are "speeding the game up" just like he said they had to in order to win after Yao went down. Then, Reggie Miller interviewed Tmac and ask him about Charles saying he doesn't make his team mates better. Tmac responded by saying he doesn't listen to anything that Charles says except for how many calories are in a cupcake. Tmac then said that Charles doesn't even watch the games. After that, Kenny tried to start making excuses for Charles because Charles was sitting there like he was going to cry (seriously). Kenny started running off at the mouth about how Yao creates open shots for his team mates while Tmac is a great "individual talent" and that makes him a "ball stopper" because he can get his own offense. Basically, trying to defend the BS they have been saying while trying to give Tmac some props. Then, they watched highlights of the game where Charles was trying to comment as usual but it seemed forced like he was talking just so nobody thought he was too embarrassed to not talk. I'm sure I missed some stuff. Anyone else?
Kenny Smith is a tool. It's a shame I had the watch the post-game with these guys after Kicking but on dallas to win our 17th. I would have rather listened to Clyde do a solo recap of the game.
Then right after he said that, he says the road team will not win any of the first round Western playoff series. Guess what Charles? Utah would be a road team if the playoffs started today.
What I don't understand is that Kenny Smith won two Championships in Houston and the city gave him much love. Now Kenny just disses The Rockets night in and out along with his fat bulldog 12 sandwhich eating Host as in Twinkie and Ding Dong Host...... Barkley was so embarrased he was mumbling and searching for words where he came up with the worh Ball-Stopper ? What an ASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
glad to hear charles got what was coming. you dont diss teams that deserve respect, we may win more we may not but what this winning streak says about our team is that we have solid contributors that share the ball. we're not as reliant on mcgrady to score and create the offense for everyone else.
Great point, I forgot about that. It kills me how he dogs us so much. I know what we are, but damn. The last two years Mac has been a very complete player and making his team better. I thought Tracy would just blow it off when asked about barkley, but that was awesome. You can tell he hates the criticism, but handles it well for the most part. I almost felt bad for charles the way he was pouting, but he has it coming. That may be even better than beating dallas. I hope we can get out of the first round to shut up the Mac haters.
