Well see I never get foot longs anyways...that's way too much sandwich for me....which is probably why Subway is the cheapest for me. If I do go to Murphy's it's to get a sub anyways, so I think it does merit being in the conversation. Other places I really haven't tried cause they're just not conveniently located near me. Plus I know there's a number of foot longs that fall in around 6 dollars at Subway..just depends on what you get.
Uh, nope. Of the places I've been too, Subway is the cheapest. And like I've said, I pretty much only get subs when I want to eat healthy and don't want to spend a lot. So a six inch sub at Subway suits me just fine.
It's healthy if you want it to be...which can be said of any place for that matter. But when I say "when I want to eat healthy" that's me basically choosing a six inch tuna with some veggies over say pepperoni pizza, hot dogs, burgers, etc. Of those I think it's a no-brainer which is the best for your body.
Subway is actually the healthiest sub place you can go to. They fill you up on veggies rather than meat, which is better for you. I still don't understand your pricing method though. I know for a fact footlongs run around 7-8 dollars at most places. So im assuming 6 inches shouldn't be too much of a difference? And haha lil pun. I just noticed what i wrote in that post. I didnt even intend to say that lol.
Well I usually get a tuna sub. At Subway I think it's 3.69. At Murphy's it's over 4 dollars. Quiznos is like a whole other animal, though. I think they're price is the same as Subway, but (correct me if I'm wrong) they don't cut they're sandwiches in half...it's like cut into thirds or something. So for about the same price I can choose six inches at Subway or 4 inches at Quiznos.
Can't beat $5 footlongs at Subway. When that promotion is over, Jimmy John's > Subway > Jason's Deli > Quiznos
Disagree...A comparable sandwich at Quiznos/Jimmy Johns/etc... will be much more calorie-laden. Obviously you can't be stupid and order a meatball sub, but there are healthy sandwiches. Try customizing your Quiznos sandwich(No sauce, cheese, etc..), and it'll taste like ass. Subway is the only place I've eaten where you can get a plain sandwich(meat, bread, vegetables) and it tastes decent.
Eh, you kinda made my point for me: 6 Inch Subway Tuna Sandwich nutrition information: 530 calories, 31 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat Double Cheeseburger at Burger King: 510 calories, 29 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat.
Good call! Togo's is pretty darn good. I live in the NW and we have only Subway and Quizno's as the main sub shops. Subway is good once every few months or so. Same for Quizno's.
LOL! I thought you were using those statistics to prove that Subway is healthy at first so I was like wtf?.
