Stupidest Thing You've Ever Done While In the Friend Zone

Not true. I've been fortunate to make the transition from dating to **** buddies work. Did that for about a year

 

Lately, this forum has been the place where dignity goes to die. This isn't your LiveJournal or Xanga. Nobody wants to hear about your exploits turning tricks with sexually-repressed truckers....and how you came out of it more enlightened. Did some of you ever think that maybe you're getting Friend-Zoned because you're ****ing weird, and girls really aren't into that kinda ****?

And also, banging fat, ugly chicks just to say you've never been FZ'd ain't all that braggable either, dudebros.

 

Didn't beat the crap out of the creepy delivery guy who kept eye****ing her like he'd never seen a woman before.

He's not touching her, talking to her, or even making other kind of contact... couldn't just ignore it? Happens with Mrs. SwoLy all the time. We have to be stronger than that.

 

It's not the worst thing a man could do to a woman, but it is considered rude.

It generally bothers me, but I do remember one time that I got some enjoyment from it.

It was one of my first dates with this one girl and it was at the Astros game. She decided to get up and get something (food, beer, whatev) and after a few seconds pass I decide I should go with her. (It was too early on in the relationship to start ignoring her for sports.) So I'm attempting to catch up to her when she walks past a group of 3-4 stereotypical young (probably ~4 years younger than she and I) black males. After she passes them they stop and one says - loudly enough so that others could hear but not loud enough so she could hear - something like "Damn, look at THAT ASS!"

I thought it was hilarious and excitedly told her about it. Of course, they didn't know I was with her, so it's not quite the same. But still. One shouldn't speak about or eye-f*** another's woman.

 

Counseling and medication helping?

 

All i've gathered from these threads is that there is like an epidemic of insecurity among males in my generation and apparently the internet is the place to vent about it.

While I still think Han Solo is a troll, i'm pretty sure he's right that some of you are homophobic. And you probably don't even know it. Experimenting doesn't necessarily make you gay.

Think about it.

There are loads of sloots in college who make-out with or "hook up" with other sloots just to mess around. Does that make them lesbian? From my experiences, no. They still like the d. They were just curious or wanted attention or whatever. In the end they're still straight.

Secondly, how do some of you think checking out a chick is in bad taste? I'm not condoning the behavior of creepy chauvinists. But noting that any girl is attractive/hot/whatever and taking a glance or two is perfectly normal.

If you are not okay with this happening to your girl, she's probably out of your league anyways. It's going to happen. Deal with it. Unless someone acts completely disrespectful and lays their hands on her or becomes way too forward, who cares?

My last point is this:

There are so many of you claiming to have never been friend zoned or not being rejected often blah blah blah.

Uh... okay?

I guarantee that if this is the case you are either:

1) hooking up with ugly girls
2) not hooking up with any girl

I've been rejected numerous times and my history of chicks that i've gotten with is still l33t level.

Getting rejected or friend zoned is whatever. It's a fact of life. If you don't try you're never going to get those "dimes" or whatever you consider a "hot chick."

We've all had our beta moments of being a sad sap. But most of you are grown men. It's time to start acting like it. You all spend so much time complaining about girls. They really aren't that much different than anyone else.

Let go of the social anxiety. Start talking to people. And I mean everyone. It'll make you more confident when you're talking to girls too. Be a man.

And for the love of god, stop acting so sensitive. If a girl says no to you, is it really the end of the world? Be confident in your ability to pull someone who you consider to be up to par with your standards.

This stuff goes a long way.

Anyways, sorry for the mini rant. But all these "friend zoned" and "omg girls are so mean!" threads/posts made me cringe reading through them.

 

I'll give you a little more time figuring that post out.

 

In high school I would just invite the girl over I was in the friend zone with, get drunk with her, and get her naked. We never dated but I could usually get that to happen, and she was 100% down to repeat it when she didn't have another guy in the picture...

As time went on and I got more pathetic I thought writing love letters would help. I imagine she has them and still laughs at how pathetic I was.

Oh the days.

 

I once was in the friend zone, just to see how it feels.

Then I decided giving the broad a false sense of hope was just a waste of everybody's time.

 

Friendzoned in HS, Would pick her up in my truck to go eat or hangout, while her bf tagged along.... Dumb I know FOREVER DEPRESSING

 

Whoever rep patted me on the back... That was forever ago, learned from my dumb ways.

 

I understand what you're saying, but it still sounds freaking hilarious and gay....lol
