This is just quantifying the proverbs and stuff you notice as a kid.

"A friend in need is a friend indeed"; well duh. And when that friend is no longer in need? They'll be a dick just like everyone else. They're evaluating "survival of the fittest", but poorly.

I find it funny that the video is edited such that the conclusion is 'rich people are bad'. I don't believe that to be the absolute result of this study from a reputable university. And if it is, then the dude is a tunnel visioned, poor caliber researcher

Being in a industry that gives services to "high end" clients in sometimes ritzy areas, can ABSOLUTELY for certain say that the rich types are VERY crass and demanding. That example in the vid of luxury cars not conceding space, thats kinda easy to sense on the road. We all know what "snobbery" is.

The issue now is that negative values are attributed onto poorer people, as though poorer people have all the dominion over "indecency". Its like some uppity rich man PROJECTION of their own crude ways.

I've always thought that approach was suspect. And money does NOT make actual CLASS.

But that Monopoly example to me is not a good experiment sample to use. The world is just competitive all over. And you can tell these people probably don't play much sports. The more you're on top and more you have, the more you can afford to take RISKS. When you're winning, that IS where you can TALK TRASH and rub it in, thats part of the fun.

sorry, but this video will be ingnored in this thread because it doesn't support what most people here WANT to believe.

    (repped)

By the way, I wonder if the original study took into account that the average millionaire buys a USED 2-yr old Honda or Chrysler...NOT a luxury Car. Many luxury cars are leased by people who really don't have the income to buy them. And as far as the monopoly game...people act differently playing a game because they know its not real life.

Don't worry, in a few years there won't even be a middle class. That way everyone will be generous.
