Sounds to me like the students walked out of class and engaged in a mass non-protest. :)

In all seriousness...come on??? Two People? TWO? If two people are walking out of class to protest then it is not a protest. I don't know what it is but it is as insignificant as flea farts.

Here's some pics from the Stanford "walk-out" protest (crowd estimated at 500 by this student), some of my fav slogans:

"War is bad for my grades"
"First Bosnia, then Afghanistan, now Iraq"
"Leave Terrorists Alone. They might strike back!"
"Today is not about Saddam. Today is about Bush"
    "STOP Picking On Saddam"
    and my personal favorite:
    "At Least Sadaam Was Elected"

Yes, unfortunately Cali is full of radical left wingers. But, I would put these extremists on a similar plane as the followers of guys like Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, and Pat Robertson.

There are many fiscal conservatives that are against the war for financial reasons, not the garbage that the Stanford students were picketing for.

What are the admissions criteria for getting into Stanford these days?

Agreed, Baqui, I just find some of this stuff funny as hell. There are many reasoned, principled arguments against war in Iraq, but precious few, if any, of them are voiced by the protest movement.
