yeah amare in your dream, this current amare is the grant hill version, webber version of todays weak, injured amare.
as long as he said something like "Booyah" or "mad skills" then it's okay. and amare the best big man...laughable (post knee surgery) If he can revert back to the old amare, then maybe
Amare is shawn kemp with a bigger body but weaker knees. He's done. Who let the Hooked-on-Phoenix special-ed kids in here?
For christsakes! Every time some TV talking head doesn't say something about Yao being the best center in the league, folks around here go ballistic and start bashing everyone and anyone who doesn't agree. You guys want this talk to stop? Simple: Have Yao Ming hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy over his head a few times and I can guarantee you that this type of talk will disappear.
Hot damn Nero!! Thats priceless I alway wonder about the amount of infatuation some around here have with Phoeniz/Amare Its not like we havent seen a guy whos sole greatness seems to be the ability to dunk a basketball. His defense isnt that great, his BBIQ aint that good and now that his athleticism just took a huge hit...he aint even the best big man in his division.
Perfecto. And I hate bringing this point because it's moot, but let's see how good Amare is on a team w/ out Nash. If guys like Diaw, Barbosa, etc never played on the Suns do you think we'd even know who they are right now? They wouldn't have had as many opportunities to shine, but w/ Nash he makes everyone's shots much easier. If the Nash went out for the season, I'd question if they'd even make the playoffs.
There's really no room of originality nowadays anyways. I'm sure Ali G didn't invent that either. But if he did steal it from Ali G, I expect the next time he does highlights and LeBron or DWade does a wicked dunk, he'll say something like "ISS NIIIICEEE.. HIGH FIVE!!" I think he's a nice breath of fresh air. I find it humorous when he screams what he thinks is contemporary street language.
