You doubters will just have to be patient a little longer!! Once Yao and the coach sort things out - you will see! :p

If anything, Adelman is making Yao less dominant.....

If it ends up making the team better, then it will be fine, but so far it doesn't seem to be making the team better.

zach randolph put up better numbers than tim duncan last year....would you take randolph over duncan ?

i would take shaq over yao too. like i have said before yao can never be the force shaq is because of his limited mobility and athletic ability. even in his decline, shaq is more of a presence than yao, especially on the defensive end. you never see the likes of dahntay jones dunking shaq.

So these are the people that listen to Stu Scott.

Shaq? Defense? If by defense you mean standing like a statue while people score around you, then fine.

This statement alone has nothing to do with Shaq v Yao.

I disagree with you on taking shaq over yao, but at least your post is rational.

All NBA teams are bull. Amare "Running out of the way is good defense" Stoudemire even made 1st team NBA with his spoon-fed, exaggerated because of faster paced offense 20PPG, over Yao's 25, 10.

Shaq hasn't been elite for years, yet people keep on tea-bagging his nuts. Yall pathetic. To think race isn't a factor at all, you got to be dumb as hell too.

I'd take Tmac over Kobe in a heartbeat too.
there are players whose teammates feel comfortable to play with, there are players cant even get along with his teammates. Thats what deferred Tmac from Kobe.

I believe most of the NBA players want to play with someone who doesnt trash his own teammates, whos always being supportive and being a great friend ---
    Tmac, all day, everyday.

That same tmac who quit on his magic team that lost 19 game in a row and had the worst record in the nba? Yao is better than shaq, but tmac is no saint. Don't be too much of a homer.

Yeah, Yao should learn just to step side and look away when someone is elevating to slam the point. Is that your point? Brain.

your point that stats don't tell the whole story is true, but you're a complete fool if you think shaq has anywhere close to the presence in a game that yao currently has. it's not remotely close. i thought yao's absolute dominance of shaq head to head last season would put this to rest.

some people just need to wake up. shaq isn't even the second best center in the league.

um, outside of the last 2 yrs where tmac has been either hurt or out of shape, tell me one year statistically that what kobe has done, tmac hasn't.

    the only difference is WINNING.

and if i know how tmac can play when he's fairly healthy, this yr he'll make you shut your mouth and eat your words.

before the injuries and ending the mavs playoff series, he was arguably the best player in the world. that's tmac, not kobe. everybody was comparing him to MJ from magic to barkley to collins.

sure 2 yrs of trying to get back into shape while kobe is healthy => yeah, health can do that to you.

but htis yr he looks to be in shape. i have no doubt he'll prove he's still top player material.

yao is better than which shaq? prime shaq or heat' shaq.

b/c yao is NOWHERE close or showing any potential to reach shaq's level in terms of dominance (the prime one)

and this old shaq can still give u 18 and 9, which is not shabby i'd say, plus w/ the abundance of double teams he'll give dwade.

I say you are an idiot to pull the YOF card. The first poster who talked about race in this thread is Sir Jackie Chiles. Now tell me how in the world he is a YOF? He joined the board in 2000, way before Yao is a Rocket. Either you are dumb or you refuse to use your brain when you write your posts.

You are really the sensitive one here who can't get it over with the beating you got in the FOB discussion. Just let it go, it's not good to your mental health.
